Great Chalkboard Set!

I've been looking for a nice chalkboard set for some time and this one is a winner! This is a great size - small enough for small spaces, yet large enough to park outside on a sidewalk and draw attention to your message. This chalkboard came complete with a set of chalk, chalkboard markers, eraser and a cool restaurant stencil set! The chalkboard itself is very solid and folds open and closed easily. It folds up for easy storage too. The black frame is nice and the chalkboard surface is solid. I'm very pleased with this purchase and I was happy to not have to run out and buy chalk, chalk markers or an eraser separately!

Cute sign

This is a neat little chalkboard sign. It has a nice wood finish, great for a little bistro, coffee shop, birthday party, anniversary, etc. It pretty lightweight and its double sided. I like that it has a magnetic eraser that holds to the chalkboard, but the liquid chalk doesn't erase unless it's wet first. I guess this is a good thing since it won't wipe off from getting bumped. The best way I think to clean the board is damp paper towels, then while damp, use the eraser to finish cleaning. It does say to "season" the chalkboard for easier cleaning without seeing old messages lingering. There are instructions inside the box. There is a huge variety of 40 different stencils that you can mix and match to make endless designs.

Two sided chalk board that is fun for kids

To be clear, this is a TWO sided chalkboard - it is NOT a dry erase board. This includes 4 liquid chalk pens, 40 stencils, white chalk and an eraser. When opened the height is 37 inches. This has a wide stance so it takes up more room when open, but it folds up nicely. Once I got the pen going the chalk flowed like a paint. The included eraser could not remove the dried chalk, it just smeared it around. A slightly damp towel cleaned it up easily. The kids are loving it cause it is more their height and easy to draw on. A solid recommendation.

Perfect for any event

The 40 by 22 inch board has been great, I loved that it came with 40 flexible plastic stencils, containing words , phrases, numbers, symbols and images. The board is lightweight and yet very well made with a wood frame and brass hinges, I would highly recommend it to attract attention to a business, farmers market, indoor gatherings and many other events.

Light Weight and Versatile

This board offers great versatility and value. Material quality and construction are basic, but with a good, creative hand (or stencils), the appearance and effect are as good as pricey commercial versions. Durability and life will depend on careful use, and it's likely vulnerable to wind gusts. It's ready to use out of the box with no assembly needed. Instructions are piece meal, only appearing on the accessory boxes. From them, I learned that you should prime the board with white chalk before first use. The liquid chalk markers are very nice and easy to use, with traditional chalk and eraser also provided . It's a perfect kit for restaurants/bars because it includes a comprehensive stencil kit for them. My wife does voter registration at public events, where it's lightweight to carry and perfect for promotion.

Solid product with tons of stencils and high quality chalk markers

The sign was packaged very well for shipping. It had protective plastic on all the corners and sufficient padding to ensure a safe delivery. It included 4 liquid chalk markers, a small eraser, a small pack of white chalk, and a comprehensive stencil set. The stencils were easy to use and the liquid chalk markers produced very satisfying colors. The product is wood based, so I wouldn't recommend leaving outside, but if brought in nightly it should last a long time.

Great sandwich board

This is a great sandwich board. It was nice that it came with chalk and chalk pens to write with. It also came with a ton of stencils to use. Have it set up for my business when i go to shows! I prefer the chalk pens because they are very vibrant! This product folds up easily, so that it's easy to take with you wherever you go! Able to write on both side of the board and it's magnetic!

ITS A SIGN!

This sign board has two sides with magnetic chalkboard (black) which can be written on with old school chalk or with liquid chalk markers. It has a black painted wood construction frame with a locking bracket attached to each side keeping the panels connected. The frame, which is lightweight, would hold up to most indoor or weather-protected applications; so, I would only recommend this for indoor or under an awning use. The chalk markers (which were included) came in four colors - white, red, green and blue), a box of 4 white chalk sticks and a generous amount of plastic stencils, and, an eraser with a magnetic back were also all included. The shipping box had corner protectors and foam padding included to keep the contents safe. The board was easy to set up, easy to design and easy to carry to the hallway where it was used.

Love my new chalkboard! The possibilities are endless!!

Love this chalkboard! We have 3 birthdays this month and I can’t wait to decorate the board for each of the birthdays and then the Holidays! One of the benefits is that it folds up flat so it is easy to transport or to hide away when not in use. It’s great that it comes with chalk and chalk pens so you’re ready to decorate as soon as you get it! It also comes with stencils and an eraser.

Lots of potential uses for entertaining and photo ops

This chalkboard has a lot of potential for those who like to entertain. Beyond parties, I am already thinking about how I can use it for yard sales, or as a photo prop for every First Day of School, or documenting the puppy’s age and size as he grows. It has a writable area that is 17.25” wide by 29” high. Fully opened, the footprint is just under 22” from side to side, and 27” from front to back. It has a good heft to it, so I wish it had a handle to make it easier to move around. But it’s quite stable on even ground, which is important. The instructions state to prime the chalkboard first by chalking the entire surface and then erasing it, to prevent “ghost” images from sticking around. Of course, doing that gets chalk dust all over the place. When wiping the dust off the wooden frame, I was surprised that some of the finish came off on the cloth. I guess that will give it a more rustic look. As for the set of stencils that comes with the board, it’s a nice idea, and they are all numbered to make it easy to locate the one you need. They work fine with the regular chalk, but I found the stencils pretty frustrating to use with the chalk markers. The ink gets underneath the stencil and smears. This happened with the markers that came with the board, and another brand I purchased. In general, the chalk markers seem to work best when the board is horizontal and the ink cannot run down the board. Once the ink is dry, it is set and even going over it with the (magnetic!) eraser that came with the board, it does not smear. It erases with a damp rag and minimum effort, allowing quick and easy fixes.

Totally Awesome

I originally got the chalk board for my daughter to scribble all over because that's what kids love to do! But it has so many other uses. My wife and I have decided to use it as a dinner and specials menu to keep track of our daily dinners. We also plan on using it for parties as a marker to let guest know that they are at the right house. Comes with 4 chalk sticks, 4 chalk markers in assorted colors and a boat load of stencils. The stencils will come in handy when we want to get fancy with our craft! Really enjoying it!

A-frame chalkboard sign came at a great time.

We ordered this A frame chalkboard sign to use at upcoming wedding and wedding shower along with our church bazaar. This sign feels to be well made, attractive, lightweight, sturdy, and easy to open and close. It comes with white chalk, liquid chalk in colors, and a magnetic eraser that will stick to closing hinge when not in use. My wife already put a message on the sign for a wedding shower coming up this weekend. Stain finish on wood frame is attractive and has a writable surface on each side of frame. Attractive, quality piece. Will have many uses for it.

Great Message Board

I am really impressed at this message board. It is made of wood with metal hinges. No plastic. It is not too heavy although I think it will hold up to good wind when outdoors. The kit is all assembled when unpacked. Dry erase markers or chalk pens are included. Plenty of colors for your artistic flair. I don’t think I need to say it but it packs up flat and stores very easily. It a great product and will look great where ever you use it.

Fun message board.

First we do not own, run or advertise for any company, we just liked this board. It has a very nice look to it and felt it could be used around our house for many reasons. First. We are holding a yard sale in a couple of weeks and we want the sign in front of our house to have a little more class than a hand written sign on a piece of cardboard. Second we think it we be a very useful and classy looking message board for just around the house. Also can use for decorating for many different holidays and birthdays. One of the things we do plan to do with it is use it to announce meal plans to visiting grandchildren, just for the fun of it. We were also very pleased to find a wide selection of liquid chalk packages easily available.
