Item is as describe but anytime you stretch something out that has a spring, it isn't going to be all that sturdy. But, the concept is a good one, just where the two poles slide in and out to create the perfect fit, it is very weak. Will it hold your items in your refrigerator? Yes. Just make sure you set it correctly. Still looking for something better but using it while I look. I am picky, so you may find that it works perfectly for you.

I placed these in the mini fridge of my RV to trying and stop the cans of beer and soda from falling all over. So far they have performed flawlessly and I couldn’t be happier. No more shaken up cans after a travel day. I’m not sure if they make them for residential size refrigerators, but for my small fridge they work perfectly.

Great and easy to use. We use put them up when we're about to move and so far they have always kept everything in place. We even had an issue with our Liquor cabinet opening up during our trips (probably due to the heavy bottles and bumpy roads). So on our last trip I put one of these rods inside the cabinet and closed the door... And this time I didn't have to pick up bottles after we set up. Highly recommend!

This product is excellent!!! We have been traveling in a motor home for years and every time we stopped and went to open the refrigerator door “you took your life into your hands “ waiting for something to come crashing out at you. NOT anymore. We have been on the road for 2 weeks, stopping frequently and not a single item has fallen out of the refrigerator! We would give this product a “10” if possible.

Pay attention to the size, it is small.

Nice item, works as expected. A little smaller than I thought it would be I had a hard time finding a cupboard small enough for it.

Purchased for RV

The cabinet walls in my rv are not strong, which prevents me from being able to tighten the bar as much as is needed. This item may work well in cabinets with stronger made cabinets, but not in cheaply-made rvs.

I purchased three of these, they are adjustable. My trailer has an outdoor kitchen with a counter mounted mini bar fridge. I was tired of arriving at my destination and having all my beverages spill out when I opened the door. Highly recommend.

Update: We have used these for 2 seasons and they have held up well. Unless we are staying in one location for a few days, I don't even remove them. It is still easy to reach in and get what is needed while they are in place. And, despite the less sturdy appearance, they have not broken yet. The spring action is not as flexible as I would like so it makes it difficult to install these and still have them be snug. They seems like they will break quickly, but we'll see. They may be sturdier than they seem. So far, they do appear to successfully keep motorhome cupboard contents secure while driving.
