The assembly instructions are impossible to understand. Poorly written with no real instructions. Hours of trying to decode what to do.

Falling apart

I really wanted to love this bed, because the design is gorgeous, but it is falling apart after less than one year of use. The legs are so poorly welded to the frame that they are falling off. The bed is no longer structurally sound. It squeaks like a haunted house every time we breathe. Save your money and buy something else.

Poorly Welded - Buyer Beware!

DO NOT BUY! As mentioned in other reviews, the welding on this bed is extremely poor quality. After about 8 months of regular use by 1 person, the center supports broke - 1 broke first, then of course the others snapped right off because of the uneven distribution. When I looked at them after, it looked like they were barely welded together, honestly surprised they lasted as long as they did. Since it's past the return window, Target will not replace the bed for me. Buyer beware.

Poor Quality

Very poor quality. First, like others have mentioned, the finish isn't actually black. The welding is very weak, and one of the supports actually broke within the first week. You get what you pay for.

Finish isn't actually black

I was excited to receive this bed but was so disappointed to discover that the finish isn't actually black. It's more of a bronze finish. The caps covering the ends of the headboard are clearly black and there is a distinct difference between the finish. The powdercoat has a bronze and gold fleck in it which makes the overall finish appear more brown than black. Returning the bed at the store was easy.

Great bed for a great price

Really like this bed and it looks great in the room. I was really impressed with how quickly it arrived, several days faster than expected. I was able to put it together on my own in about an hour, a good part of that was trying to decipher the single page of directions that let's just say were harder to follow than a certain Swedish retailer's directions. Quality is good and I definitely recommend this bed.
