My 5 year old son absolutely loves these TOOBS. He lines them up, and names them all one by one. He knows their names by heart. This brand is very high quality and we've bought so many already because he just loves animals.

The animals don't seem to be the same quality they were years ago. They come out of the tube with paint transfer from other animals. The details, like the eyes, are off and uneven. I hate that some tubes come with less than 12 animals now.

I use this as a review game. Kids answer the questions pick up an animal in the bag. The spelling of the animal equals to the number of points earn. Kids had fun !!!

Great for learning

I combined this toob with other animal toobs to create an animal sorting of the continents lesson. My children love it! I use this amd other toobs to provide concrete representations of topics we are learning about. Before homeschooling, I used them in my prek classroom and they were always very popular lessons. I love that they are realistic and not cartoony looking with exaggerated features (like exaggerated eyes/lashes).
