Love it!

We love this rug! The color is a charcoal grayish brown and is beautiful, it is a great neutral color. The pile is woven tight, very slight texture, doesn't show footprints. I was nervous about purchasing a rug online, but very pleased. I only wish it came in a larger size; I would buy another one.

Gorgeous rug! Nicely made and a beautiful pattern. As another review mentioned, the color in person is mocha and ivory, not gray and ivory, but that was exactly what I wanted so that review inspired me to buy it, and it’s perfect!

OMG. gorgeous rug

Absolutely stunning rug! heavy heavy heavy! One of my favorite rugs ever purchased as a home stager. Pattern is NOT subtle, so furniture must be! Makes a room in the right space. gorgeous

I ended up returning this rug and receiving a replacement, but then returning that one because of a horrible toxic smell that it had. The rug itself looked great, I just couldn’t get over the smell. Customer service was speedy and helpful though.

Beautiful rugs. We have them just inside a couple exterior doors. Goes well with our black, white, gray and neutrals home.

Fabulous tug

This rug is gorgeous and is just what I was looking for. It looks tribal and is elegant. The color is more a dark brown/dark grey blend of color and the background is cream. Safavieh never disappoints me as the quality is on point and the rug is fabulous! Also, the delivery took only two days, hooray!

I would buy this rug again in a heartbeat! Quality galore! The color is a bit lighter than the OS pictures but I knew that when I bought it because of pictures in the reviews like this one. Don't hesitate on this rug.

Not Black, but Great Quality

I'm pleased with this rug overall. The quality is great -- it feels very thick and plush underfoot and doesn't actually seem to shed a lot. I was looking for something with a black in it and was a little nervous to order this since several reviews mention that it's not really black despite the photos looking black. This is indeed true. There are a lot of brownish fibers mixed in, which gives it sort of a charcoal appearance overall, maybe even kind of mocha. I think it depends on the other colors in the room; if you have a lot of brown, it will definitely pick that up. Even though it's not really black, the size, quality, and price were right, so I'm going to keep it. The rug hasn't shed a lot so far, and I haven't noted a smell. It came super quickly and was well packaged. It needed to flatten a bit given that it arrived rolled, but it didn't take long. I laid it out less than 24 hours ago, and it's already pretty flat. Great purchase overall!

Absolutely gorgeous and feels great underfoot!

We bought this rug for our living room, and everyone who has seen it has commented on just how lovely it is. The darker parts of the pattern are raised higher than the light, and it feels wonderful to walk on in our no-shoes-inside house.

Just received my rug and while it's good quality and I do like it, it's not at all what I was expecting color-wise. The photo looks black (or very dark gray) and ivory. In actuality it's medium charcoal gray and beige and not that contrasty. Fortunately it's still ok with my decor so I will keep it, but wish I'd known what I was really getting.

It is a beautiful rug i just wish i had gotten a bigger size. I love the color and texture of it.

Perfect centerpiece for a neutral room.

I love this rug! I've had it for over a year and I still love it as much as day 1. The design is the centerpiece of the room. The quality of the wool is outstanding. It does shed, but it's satisfying to vacuum, lol. Can't beat Safavieh quality.
