I really loved the color and look of this rug when it was new. It is definitely well made and 100% wool tufted, however, over the years it shows it's wear quickly. It is not easy to clean. I've used a Hoover Steam Carpet cleaning machine, but with it being a wool rug, you definitely smell the wool scent when it is wet. The machine cleaning doesn't work too well on it but spot cleaning works best, although I just can't seem to get all the stains/spots out.

Was apprehensive about ordering a rug online but honestly, it arrived today and it is absolutely gorgeous. It goes perfectly with our weathered wood and linen upholstered dining room set. At first I thought that the trellis pattern appeared to be a little too mauve for my taste but when coupled with our medium brown dining table and dark brown hardwood floors, it looked fantastic and softened things up. Very impressed with the thickness of the rug as well. Beautiful rich cream color. High quality purchase!

The quality of this rug is excellent; however, I do recommend purchasing a non-slip rug mat if you intend to use this rug anywhere other than on carpet. The white is more of an ivory color but not enough to disappoint or warrant a return. It is very comfortable to walk on bare foot and feels like it has some sort of a cushion or extra padding. I put this rug in my laundry room and noticed a difference instantly when I was standing in front of the washer/dryer earlier. Would recommend!

High-Quality Item!

I had been searching for a Moroccan rug in navy for my new living room for quite some time, and happened upon this item when it was part of one of Overstock's weekly sales. I couldn't be happier with the results., ,,,,,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, This rug is made of wool and was clearly sheared correctly, which means that it will shed considerably once it has been unrolled and has relaxed. I suggest setting aside time to vacuum the rug once or twice before placing any furniture on it; plan to continue vacuuming it daily for around a month., ,,,,,,,,,,,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, It's plush; it's quality. If you're looking for a great rug in a great color at a great price, this is the item for you!

What a beautiful rug!

I am very pleased with my new rug. However, when I initially opened the plastic bag surrounding the rug, I was hit with a very strong, musty odor (that's the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5). But after a couple days with it laid out, the odor is dissipating. I have not experienced any shedding. It is soft under foot and the color brings my bedroom to life. It was also a bonus to have the back covered in a cotton cloth to protect my hardwood floor. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Rug was dirty and hard to clean.

I bought the navy rug and it was ok, but I thought the color seemed a bit dull. I was hoping the color would be more rich. When the rug arrived it had dirty spots on the white parts of the rug, and the interior cardboard tube looked like it had big bloody spots on it. Also the white part of the rug is raised up above the blue part of the rug and it was very hard to vaccum. It still looked trashy after I vaccumed because my vaccum couldnt get down to the blue part of the rug because the white part is so thick, and the dirty spots did not come up. I am returning this product.

Great rug, but product info is incorrect

I love this rug. The color and style are great. It is a very bold yellowish-gold. It's nice and thick, but not super soft. , ,,,,,, Unfortunately I had to return it. The description says that the rug is hand tufted. I even called customer service and did an online chat to verify that it was hand tufted before I bought it. When it arrived I noticed that the white part of the rug is hand tufted, but the yellow/gold is looped. I have two large dogs and within a week or so some if the loops were getting pulled loose. I was sad to return it because it really made my family room look great.
