Nice rug

We bought this rug for a rental property. It was really nice. The ends had a tendency to curl, but I think that's something that can be addressed on our end. Overall, nice rug.

I purchased this in light green. I liked the thickness of it and there wasn’t anything technically WRONG with the rug, but I thought the pattern was boring. Totally my own fault. It was too much of a hassle to return so I just lived with it.

Beautiful rugs

For the price this rug is fantastic. All wool soft and elegant. The grey is not really grey it is more sage green. My house got flooded so had to replace all rugs with Janessa rugs. The only problem, it sheds a LOT. It has been 8 months and it still clogs the vacuum cleaner. However the price and durability is incredible. If you are not sure of the color, order a small 2 by 3 and see if it is what you want.

Very disappointed in this Safavieh rug!

Description indicates coke as grey/light grey, photos show green/lt green, actual rug was darker bright teal/very light and bright teal. Very disappointed in that! Also, there was a very seam on one of the inside corners. Any indentations from furniture and feet showed excessively due to weave and color. As far as tuft and weave, that part was great. Tight weave and very comfy to walk on.

Soft and Vibrant

Super vibrant and comfortable to walk or sit on. I absolutely love it. My only complaint is that it sheds quite a bit. I need to vacuum it frequently to remove the bits of blue fuzz that have accumulated and after almost two years of ownership I've started to notice areas where it's starting to thin. No doubt some of this is due to my cats occasionally scratching it (although they really don't scratch it that often). But given the price I more than got my money's worth!

Lovely rug - sheds a lot

I love the color and feel of the rug. My daughter loves it for her room. However, this rug sheds like crazy. I vacuumed it three times in a row the first week and it filled my vacuum tank with fibers each time. A month later, it's still shedding - thankfully at a slower pace but still leaving fibers on my socks when I walk on it a lot. If it weren't so perfect for the room otherwise, I may have considered returning. But hoping we'll make it through the shedding and it will feel like it was a five-star all along.

Questionable

I ordered one Himalaya runner in gray. It arrived quickly and in perfect conditon. It is perfect for the intended area. I ordered two more for my bedroon hallways. Both of these also arrived quickly but both bags, inside and out, arrived wet. I returned these easily and ordered two more. I'm giving it one more chance.

I ordered the rug on a Tuesday and it was at my door in Florida on Saturday. The two blues were exactualy as shown on the website, very vibrant. There was no odor to the rugs and they flatened quickly. From reading other reviews of the rug I was woried about the sheding issue. I vacuumed the rud after it was on the floor and did not get any more fuzz than I have gotten from inital vacuuming with my four other wool rugs. Remember not to use beater bar/brush vacuums on wool rugs. This rug is a bargin for the money.

I love the look of this rug, I have the tan/gray green border color. However Ive had it for a little over three months and there is still significant shedding, vacuum canister is full with fine fibers after ive passed it over the rug. Also, I keep finding (painfully) these small hard knots that thankfully I can remove but when you step on or lay on are pretty sharp feeling. I like to workout at home but dont take the chance on this rug due to these pea sized knots in random spots. Overall aesthetically the rug is pleasing, but functionality not so much.

Big creases!

Nice rug. Great quality. Ordered gray but it seems to have a green tint, could be the lighting. It was folded when it arrived, we rolled it up and left it rolled for a week. Still lots of big creases that we are struggling to remove using heavy items. Not sure it is going to work though.

The website pictures do not depict the real color!

I ordered this rug thinking it would go nicely in my living room based on the pictures on the website of the light grey/dark grey color. The pictures make it look like it has more of a taupe or brownish tint to it. When I got the rug, I found out that it looks nothing like the pictures on the website. It is more grey than the pictures make it look. See my photo.

Disappointed

Bought rug for colors and it's lovely but it constantly sheds blue fibers and tufts of stuff. I tried brushing it and vacuuming it ... though maybe b/c it was new...but nope! 😜 You can't wash it either so not good for high traffic areas. It's shedding fibers and tufts so much ( think blue tumble weeds 😂) I can't keep the floor clean. I'm going to donate it because I can't use it I'm disappointed ☹️

Second time purchasing

I love this rug. I bought it for the first time in 2019. Yes it sheds, it does get better but it still hasn't stopped completely. However, I feel this is better than a plastic rug that off-gasses toxins. It is very dense and cushy, that is why I like it. I put the big foam gym-type tiles under it because I like to sit on the floor. Between the cushiness of the rug and the tiles, it is very comfortable! The reason I give it four stars is that this time when my rug arrived it was not rolled up like a rug should be. Someone thought it was a good idea to fold it in half both ways and then roll it and package it for shipping. Hopefully, it will eventually flatten out because it looks ridiculous right now.

EXCELLENT RUG

Nice and thick. Exactly as described. Lays flat in just one day. Because it's wool there are no chemical smells. It feels like a high-quality rug runner. Great value for the money. The same rug was more expensive on other sites. I am considering buying a larger one for my living room.

Not loving the shedding

Just did my bedrooms over and needed to purchase some new area rugs. My son is all about blue and he chose this blue area rug. Its wool and shedding everywhere. Jury is still out. Update on this rug. Absolutely hate it. Never buy wool. It does nothing but shed large clumps of wool. Can't wait to replace it.

Beautiful mixed material rug.

Beautiful run, but did not clean well on first go. Big dog adopted after we had it in a dog less house for several months...pretty sure it is the oil from his coat that is the problem; researching how to remedy this. Photo does not show the issue, due to shadows and poor photography skills, but does show the fit. 8x10 size.. cleaning aside. I like this rug and the price was good.

This rug is extreme heavy. It's folded when arrives and the seams are awful. Hard to get out. I wanted to return but overstock couldn't replace with a new rug. Also the amount of fibers that are collected every day by my vacuum are concerning. I've never experienced a rug like this. I want to return it but the amount of work to repackage is so challenging. I would not recommend this rug to anyone. I just want my money back.

BUYER BEWARE--DON'T BUY THIS RUG!!!

This rug looks just like the picture and when it arrived I really loved it. However, IT SHEDS CONSTANTLY! Every day I have to pick up or vacuum fuzz balls. IT IS REALLY BAD! It actually clogged my vacuum cleaner and I had to get it fixed. Prior to purchasing this rug, I read a couple of reviews that mentioned shedding. However, I needed the sizes available and could not imagine that this situation could be this bad. I purchased these rugs (2) months ago and they continue to ball up with fuzz, which winds up all over the room. The problem with purchasing a large item like this is return shipping. They allow you to return it but it costs so much to do so that you are basically stuck with it. HORRIBLE---DO NOT BUY!

Beautifully made rug

The rug is plush and very well made. I got it on sale and could not be happier. The color around the border has more green tones than gray, which I was not expecting but is exactly the color I wanted. (You must have a rug pad underneath or you will fly across the floor when you step on it. I would recommend a very thin silicone treated pad that does not disintegrate over time or stick to a wooden floor.)
