I loved the Design but the material

I love the rug but didn't realize it was wool! So a lot of balls of wool and not great if you suffer from allergies. Unfortunately, have to put it away since it was in my son's room and he is prone to allergies.

I purchase the round 5x5 rug and I love it! Goes perfect in my girls bedroom. This rug hasn’t shed at all like some other reviewers mentioned.

Cute < Scratchy Fabric

Looks cute, however, if given the chance to do it again I wouldn’t repurchase. Fabric is super scratchy and stains really easily, not sure why it’s advertised as kids rug besides the color. I purchased the pink and the colors are true to picture.

Do not recommend

Do NOT recommend. Arrived smelling of moth balls. Made the entire house smell. This rug must have been sitting in the warehouse for YEARS.

Bought this for my daughters room. Good news the rug is the cutest rug for the room. Bad news, it had two stains when i unpacked it. I got one out, and the other didnt. I just hid the stain under the bed, because i was too lazy to return.

This rug is so sweet! I bought it in a round for a nursery I did for a client. The color is a really soft pink and cream... just right for a little girls room. The quality is great as I always find with a Safavieh rug. It's a nice weight and thickness so on hardwood floors, it didn't move around too much although I did add a pad just to be sure. Shipping was quick.

Not a great playroom rug

Ended up returning this because the colors seemed fuller than in the photos. The ivory had a tinge of yellow to it and overall it was much harder than I had expected considering we wanted it for our sons playroom. Also the lines stick up further and as others have said made it weird to vacuum.

DO NOT BUY THIS RUG!!! I love the look, but the quality is TERRIBLE. Rug is showing EXCESSIVE wear in a very short about of time. Very surprised as I have other SAFAVIEH rugs that are great. Super disappointed with this one. Save yourself the hassle of having to return -- and/or your money if you are like me and miss the return window.

Really nice rug! Good color. No smell. It does have a texture so it could bother someone in bare feet. No smell and looks like the picture.

The white stripes are sticking up more than the grey stripes. Not bad really, you gotta find a way to vacuum it. But the part about vacuuming is that it sheds like crazy, I’m waiting for the moment it just officially stops shedding. It makes my kid’s itchy- when they lay on it. Which I think is just the pieces that are being vaccumed up.

Deceiving Stock Photos

Would not recommend / would not repurchase. As noted in other reviews, the color of the stripes is cream, not white. The stripes are also very raised which makes it hard to vacuum over and presents a trip hazard for my toddler for whom I purchased the rug. I read reviews prior to purchasing and expected the cream color, however, the entire rug has a dingy/dirty/brown sheen all over. I also noted several (what appears to be) pen marks leading me to believe I received a used/returned rug when I purchased a new rug. The one good quality is that it is a substantial weight and thickness and not a flimsy piece of carpet, so it lays flat. It does shed significantly, though.

A great rug

We love this rug. Very sturdy and thick. We will only buy wool rugs from now on, especially when going over a carpet. Design is basic, but works with the design of this particular room. Definitely not a kids only rug. It did smell a little muggy at first, but went away.

Sheds like crazy for months.

I bought this rug three months ago for my daughter's room. Our robot vacuum runs every single day and is filled within only minutes after being on this rug. It constantly sheds. Her room, toys, and clothes are covered in the itchy fibers from the rug. Its too expensive to be made as cheaply as it is.

I was looking for a nice rug for my 4 year old daughters room that would be pretty and warm but not too babyish that I’ll have to replace it in a couple of years and I definitely found that in this product. The rug is thick and well made as well as having a subtle design. It is also a gorgeous shade of pale pink that my daughter loves.
