When I found these lamps I knew it would be the color combination I was seeking. Not necessarily brown, definitely not maroon, but more of a rust color which compliments the browns and darker red tones. The shape of the lamps are more on the oval shape versus round.. let's say teardrop shape all the way around. That was a bit surprising for me but they worked well for where they would be placed. My only negative resulting in a star removal, is the finish on one of the lamps. Luckily it's in the cord side facing the wall so it will never be seen, 1/4" paint is missing at the top of the ceramic base where the neck screws in. Also looks like someone nicked the base before or had time to dry. Not worth returning as it is barely visible to from a distance and won't be seen by anyone. Just poor finish work.

This product arrived quickly and looks exactly like it does online. It is good quality and I would highly recommend this. I like being able to order online and have items shipped directly to my house.

Disappointing

There was more assembly required for these lamps than I anticipated. The socket housing must be screwed onto the base, but with the notable caution not to twist the electrical cord in the process. I found it impossible not to twist the cord, so back to the manufacturer these lamps will go.
