beautiful after it flattens out

I was concerned that the rug would never lay flat but after a couple of months it flattened out. It's really beautiful and I get many compliments on it. I taped it to the ground on the edges so it lays nicely and we don't trip on it.

Lovely rug

It's a beautiful rug. Seriously worth the money. Soft. Well-made. Quality. However I am knocking a star off for the color ambiguity. I ordered ivory, and that is what the label says, but the color is darker than expected. It still is lovely and it still works in the space, but there is some fine print about color inconsistency. Still pleased, overall.

This wasn't my favorite rug but it will do for the space that I needed it in. Safavieh is a reliable brand and the rug is soft and durable.

I got this rug as a hallway runner, holding up great, cleans well and is nice to walk barefoot on, coordinates well with other different style rugs nearby as well.

Looks just as pictured and excellent in our traditional home foyer. We've been able to easily remove dog stains, which would be easily hidden with all the colors. It's wool so expect some shedding at first.

I am so pleased with this gorgeous rug. I used it in a dining room, and the compliments are always coming! If you are looking for a tasteful, beautiful rug with a beautiful rich red in it, I highly recommend this one!

Update 12/31. They called and said they have no idea where my replacement rug is. ..... 12/29/18 I would rate this a zero if I could. I ordered a week before Christmas with guaranteed delivery so it would be here for my visitors. Well it arrived, but it was the wrong size AND the wrong item. I spent 45 minutes on the a chat to try to straighten it out on 12/21. I was assured a correct one would be shipped on the 22nd. Here I sit on the 29th with no rug. Plus they promised a token *** for my inconvenience. I had to do anther chat yesterday to find that my replacement rug hasn't even been shipped yet. And they had forgotten about my measly *** refund. I had to waste a total of 1.5 hours convincing them that made they a mistake. Today they sent me an email to rate their service so here it is. LATE, WRONG ITEM, REPLACEMENT NEVER ARRIVED, LOUSY SERVICE, SENDING JUNK MAIL 3 TIMES A DAY. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. DISAPPOINTED WIFE.

After actually going on site to several stores and, subsequently, shopping for a rug online, I found what I wanted at Overstock. And I love it! It is now under the dining room table in our great room. The colors are a perfect match to my large Persian rug nearby. We will enjoy this carpet for years to come.

Beautiful and bold

This rug is a beautiful, high quality rug. However, for my original purpose in the living room with my large leather sectional the rug announced itself too boldly. I want a rug that is more of a team player with the furniture, but the bold colors of this rug sort of took over. HOWEVER .... I moved it into the dining room under my cherry table set and it's incredible. There the border is gorgeous surrounding the formal table and chairs. IMO an oriental rug is a key feature to a room ... it announces itself the minute you walk in and you better like the voice. I think in my dining room the table and chairs force the voice of the rug to work better in harmony with the ensemble. In the living it completely eclipsed my stunning leather sectional. But that said, it's still a very, VERY pretty, high quality rug. Rugs are like art - everyone likes something different. So don't be put off my review if you really think you'll love it.

I love this rug. It is a darker color than it looks online. It is more gold than it looks. I was not surprised though because other reviews had made that comment. It worked perfectly with my colors. I have had it for about a month. The quality is good. It vacuums very well which I love since I have two dogs who are in spring shedding mode. I have only had one spill and it wiped up nicely. I highly recommend this rug.

Quality rug....

This is a top of the line rug. I was so lucky to get this rug on OS. Everyone who sees it loves it. It's at the entry to my home and the design and wool is fantastic. My cat loves it too...she sleeps on it every day since it arrived. I think she thinks I bought it for her. lol

Great quality rug- however, I have this color/style rug that I purchased app 1 yr ago and Safavieh has changed the dye lot & taken the Charcoal color completely out of this rug now. The gold color is a true Gold where it use to be more of a khaki gold
