This is a beautiful rug. It is short pile, and very soft. Definitely a quality rug. However, I had to return it - the rug has a 'sheen' to it that was too formal for my space. It would have looked nice in a formal dining room or a more dressy living room, but was too glitzy for my space.
Beautiful Soft Aged Appearance
This is the second Safavieh Vintage cream color rug that we have purchased for the 1905 Farmhouse that we are renovating. The soft, muted colors are perfect over both naturally-finished pine floors and those painted antique white. We are also using this rug in a runner for a painted staircase. We wanted a thinner rug to avoid trip hazards in the house. We are using the rug without a pad--it lays well, doesn't slide, and doesn't curl. Just what we wanted!
