Love the chair

Absolutely gorgeous! Its a bit darker grey than the photo shows but still nice. I bought it for a sitting area in my bedroom and its looks great. Nice and comfortable looks adorable my husband says easy to put together but he says that about everything lol so not sure how helpful that is.

Not velvet, more faux suede. Parts did not fit correctly, poor engineering.

Love this settee. Agree with other reviews-It wasn't the easiest to put together. Made easier by not tightening any of the bolts so the arms were able to be attached when the parts were a bit more mobile. The seat is firm but feels like it will have some durability. We are remodeling an old weight room and this is the perfect size for our 8x20 room, with a 51 inch wall space. Finished product is so pretty!

This is easy to put together and very well constructed...the seat is a bit firm.. (only reason 4 the 4 stars) but goes perfect in my living room for extra seating. I've received lots of compliments on it.

Bought this settee for our master bedroom. My only complaint is that it had to be assembled and you can see where the fabric in the back attaches to the frame.

We had the white linen one. Very difficult to put together. Some holes not in the right place. Very hard seat. But does look elegant. I would not buy again.

Beautiful but not very comfortable. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it from guests but nobody really sits on it! Easy to build, did not take my husband long.

Should be better for the price

Item was completely malaligned on one side. Didn't realize until it was fully assembles sadly. There were a few other issues with scratches in the material. Overall I wouldn't pay what I did for it. I do like that the feet are adjustable as my home I older and the floors are not level.

The shipment arrived early, was a bit beat up but the item had not been damaged in transit. . . It was a bit tricky putting together - the last several screws were hard to get in straight as the already attached parts were pulling them in opposing directions. Somehow I managed to do it alone, but it would be much easier with two people. Also, dont bother trying to use the provided tools the whole way - assembly will take forever. Use a Phillips head screw driver for the majority of the screw securing.. only the last tight part requires the wrench. Screw alignment is everything!!! . . Please note that these items are to some degree covered/upholstered using velcro. There are pros/cons about that... this is not a high-end piece, but also not the cheapest.

Safavieh Settee

Beyond my expectations. Looks great as the centerpiece of my parlor. Quality of fabric and workmanship is very good. It is sturdy as well.I would definitely purchase more furniture from overstock.com Easy to assemble directions.

it's pretty, but a pain to assemble.

Sure, the settee is very pretty and the color is almost white , which is what I wanted. However, it does NOT take 18 minutes to assemble as the instructions indicated. It's more like 2 hours of pure frustration. We got it done, but it took lots of patience and strength. Those holes don't line up easily. If assembling furniture is not your Forte , then I suggest you purchase a settee without arms. The arms was the hardest thing to line up.

A lot of assembly required

The color is no were near as light as the photo. I looked at the picture on multiple screens and it was pretty consistent. The color matches the description, so I really can't complain. I rated the product 3 stars because of the amount of assembly that was required, I felt like a carpenter when it was all said and down. And I wasn't too thrilled about the color. I am using the settee as dinning room sitting; it fits perfectly for a regular height dinning table.

Small and Perfect

I purchased this settee for my home office and it is so simple and pettite and just goes perfect with my Tiffany and Black&White theme. It is not white but I use gold accents so the cream color is just dandy.

great Piece for the bedroom

purchased the piece for my bedroom. you have to assemble the couch but its pretty easy with the right tool. be sure to make sure you have it tighten. Sits comfortably for the size.
