Reviews

Very wobbly after installation. For the price, I thought they might be a little more sturdy, since it is a book cart and not all books are paperback and super light..

I hope it works

I bought this steel book cart, 6 double-sided shelves. It was less sturdy than I expected and the wheels are much too small for a large cart. I hope it works.

lightweight cart

Was a little difficult to put together. Is not very sturdy. It does hold a lot of books, but wouldn't put anything very heavy!

Purchased this book cart for a classroom, and after putting together we are very impressed. The cart is very sturdy and looks nice! Assembly was fairly easy, took about an hour or so and some basic tools. Would recommend to anyone looking for a double sided book cart on a budget!

I bought this to my church library. It is very practical and easy to carry the books. I even use it to display them so kids can borrow after choosing. But I have assembled hundreds of furnitures all my life and this one was one of the hardest. The angle that you need to screw the metal divisions make it very very hard to assemble. You definitly will need 2-3 people to finish this one.

I was really looking forward to receiving this, so much so that I bought 2. Unfortunately, it was all but impossible to put together, I'm pretty handy, putting together wall units, bookshelves and stereo cabinets for year but this unit defeated me. Screw holes were at impossible angles and I skinned multiple knuckles trying. I now have a partially assembled unusable eyesore and another that is to heavy to justify return shipping for. .I would have been better off paying extra for an assembled piece.

Very wobbly

It did not do the job for us, It was very hard to assemble and it is very wobbly and seems to be breaking soon. I think it's worth it pay a few extra dollars and get something that works.

This book cart went together easily. My main concern was after I used it several times, the screws needed to be tighten. I needed to keep a screw driver handy.

Do not buy this cart

The holes for the screws were not the right size so it was very difficult to assemble. It is engineered badly. All of the screws are difficult to put in. None of ours went in straight and they are located in places that are difficult to get to. You will need power tools to assemble.

A great little rig. I needed the cart to sort out my enormous book collection and this one is very spacious and holds a lot of books. Very easy to move around and yet sturdy enough to handle a big load.

Zoro ships real book carts free - no need to buy this

Some years ago to save on shipping I bought this item. Safeco makes other stuff that I have found great. This was awful. I am used to assembling carts and shelves. This was the worst. The, once assembled, it is not stable. I still have it, but I have bought many other carts from Zoro because Zoro has low prices and free shipping. Buy a different cart.

excellent value

You have to put it together. I read a review which talked about this book truck being "wobbly" so I made sure to put some torque into screws and nuts. The key is to have a really long handled Phillips head screwdriver to put it together. It holds a lot of books, and compared to professional trucks, wielded and ready for daily use in a large library, it's very inexpensive, and perfect as a moveable bookcase.

Just what we were looking for.

Purchased the cart to create a small portable library. I wasn't sure how sturdy the cart would be, but based on other reviews I purchased it. I am glad I did, It was just what we needed. When assembled it is very sturdy and rolls around very easily. The wheels even have a lock position on them when necessary. The only negative thing I would have to say is that it took two people to put together because of having to hold the shelf in place while trying to screw in the screws. Other than that it was very easy to assemble.

Industrial Type Cart

This is a heavy duty type library cart. I purchased it to use in my studio to organize trims. It helps to have two people to put it together. Unfortunately a few pieces arrived bent (occurred in shipping). We were able to still use the pieces but one panel lost some of its paint when we had to bend it back to get it to fit together. Thankfully it was towards the bottom. I will most likely put a piece of black electrical tape over that area to prevent further paint peeling or rusting. Wheels are also heavy duty which makes moving the cart fairly easy.

Great Value

Helps to have 2 people when putting together, but I did it alone in less than two hours. Great for moving lots of books quickly and safely. Rolls easily even when loaded with books. Can't beat the price!

Exactly What We Needed

This was a great buy. It works well, it's a great size and is a great cart for what we need it for (a mobile library)! Definitely great for us!

A bit tough to put together but it seem sturdy.

looks very sturdy. We are suing it in an elementary school so it needs to stand up.

This is most difficult item that I have ever had to assemble. After two weeks, I'm still trying to assemble it.

A decent book cart.

This unit is functional, but not beautiful. It's made of 1.1 mm sheet steel, which can bend rather easily during assembly if you're not careful. A couple of the shelves on my unit were slightly bent when it arrived, at the back where it doesn't show.
