Good for high baseboards; difficult install

This was the only hardware attached baby gate we could find that attaches at the top of the gate - avoiding issues with baseboards (ours being high 8 inches. The gate itself is solid although creaks a lot. However they included terrible anchors if you need to drywall mount; trip to Home Depot solved this. Their anchors immediately buckled under the weight of their own door let alone a child tugging at it. Some parts that they claimed could be adjusted by hand required a few good blows with a hammer. But, it works for those who have had issues with baseboards. Good luck.

Smart design

It just arrived today and we had it installed in 20 minutes. Really impressed with the appearance, how solid it seems to be, and how simply but securely it’s mounted to the wall. We purchased and returned a few other models. This very smartly avoids any extra hardware or shims to mount around baseboards, is easy to open with one hand and I like that it can be lifted out of the mounting hardware to stash away if we have company or something.

Description misleading

Gate locks every two inches so you cannot freely set them to tailor your entryway, etc. Purchased two and they're going back. Minor scratches once taking out of the box.

Modern and functional

Very modern design and easy to install, We are using at the top of the stairs for a dog gate. Would definitely recommend.

Love it!!

Very easy to install and love how easy they are to open and close compared to the other gates we have used. Very sturdy, even against the most ambitious of kids. Only issue we had was with the installation manual, it took us a while to figure out that wall bracket was adjustable with a screw driver since it was specified at the beginning of the manual (which we skipped over) instead of at the point in the install that it would need to be adjusted. Great product!

Terrible Gate

I bought this gate a few weeks ago. It is very easy for my child to push on the gate and the lock gives away, will phone to return. Latch is very poor quality.

Best gate for stairs

Pretty sure this is the absolute best gate for the top of the stairs. Solid and looks great. Took about 30 mins to install. Pricey but well worth it. Managed to buy it when BRU was offering 15% off all regular priced items. Absolutely recommend.

Sturdy and looks nice

These gates are on the high end of the cost spectrum but are easy to install (use a level, the instructions don't recommend this but I think it's necessary to get the door and latches to line up), feel very sturdy and look nice. The first order I did 2/3 came damaged and missing parts but the replacement gates arrived in good condition.

Easy install, good for top of stairs

I give the gate 5 stars but the customer service only 1 star. I ordered 3 of these gates, one came intact, the other two were damaged. The one that I was able to install works great, it's easy for adults to operate and feels very secure. I used a level to install, which is not in the instructions but I feel it should be. The buying process and return process for the gates was long and very difficult. They took weeks to arrive after ordering, and the return process for the damaged gates was just one problem after another.

Issues with Install

WE found problems with installing the gate. We had to build up the space between our stair walls as the railing got in the way of the gate for removal. Then when we got the gate on we realized that we should have made the wood sides wider to accommodate the clicks/stops for the gate. So at this point the gate can slide back and forth when we open it. We would have to make our side pieces at about 1" wider on each side to accommodate this. Gates becoming narrower then we thought.

Highly recommend

This gate is quite expensive but worth it. It’s very sturdy, looks great and easy to install. I’m most impressed with the quality. Would highly recommend it.
