Send me a replacement toaster that works properly and is not a piece of junk! Ill put this in a box and return it to you! I need an address label for the return! Im disabled and have a hard time getting to the post office! I spend a lot of money on wayfair! This is one of the worst purchases Ive ever made anywhere

Salton 2-in-1 Single Serve cocoa teaMake...
Salton 2-in-1 Single Serve cocoa teaMaker makes just right hot cocoa tea.
It's pretty but sketchy. Looks great. There are 6 "doneness" settings. Any setting above #2 will burn bread. Pushing the carriage down to start the toasting doesn't always work. Sometimes I have to push the carriage down 6-10 times before it will "grab" and then hold the bread down to start toasting it. It's barely "OK". Would not buy again. But it was cheap and this is a case of "You get what you pay for."
Perfect blend of style and practicality!!
The Salton Digital Long Slot Toaster is a great addition to any kitchen. Its long slot fits all kinds of bread, from thick artisanal slices to thinner pieces, toasting them evenly. The digital controls are super easy to use, and you can adjust the browning levels to get your toast just right. It also has handy defrost and reheat functions for frozen or previously toasted items. The sleek stainless steel design looks stylish, and the removable crumb tray makes it easy to clean up.
Save your money
This toaster is horrible. IT doesn't toast evenly, burn easily, and the arm to push is not smooth. The back slot toasts faster then the front slot. If you put in a whole piece of long bread it ony toasts part way. The back heating element toast the one side faster then the other side. It is not a good toaster save your money!!!!
Exactly what I was looking for.
Lovely finish, nice and slim which is exactly what I was looking for.
Mediocre at best
Doesnt evenly toast
The Everything Toaster
It took us 3 days to figure out the perfect settings for frozen bagels, frozen large-size bread slices, English muffins—and now we love the toaster. Everything is perfect—no burnt edges
Uneven toasting
We were excited for our new toaster to arrive. We had our last toaster for several years and it was time for it to go. We plugged our new toaster in and let it toast empty just to burn the “new” smell off of it. Once that was done we tried bread in the toaster. We set the toaster to level 4 and allowed it to do its thing. Once the timer was finished counting down the toast automatically popped up. Unfortunately the right corner (a large portion) was burnt on both pieces of toast. We had to scrape the burnt part off. We have a shipping label and the toaster is going back. The other part I am extremely disappointed in is the fact I am paying $8.95 to return a toaster because it arrived defective.
Its OK. The edges get a little dark on the edges.
Like it, but still need to flip
We like this toaster, but it doesn't cook evenly. The top cooks slower than the bottom, and we still need to flip our bread. I haven't been able to find a toaster where I haven't had to flip it. But I do like the digital count down and the long slots.
Ok but could use a few improvements
It's a good toaster, but I hate that it doesn't remember the browning setting. It always starts at 3 and if you want 1 or 2 you have to keep tapping through 4, 5, 6 until you get to the 1 or 2. The brown setting should be active even before you lower the toast with the lever, so that you can select which number before you start toasting and I'd prefer it start at 1 not 3, Or just replace that function with a dial which is much better. I found 3 to almost burns some breads. Also needs extra lift lever so that you don't burn your fingers trying to remove smaller toast after it's done.
Withg a little tweaking it would be prefect.
Bought the toaster yesterday (12/26/23); put it to use today. 2 Comments:
Salton toaster
Works well, is aesthetically pleasing and easy to use.
Annoying to Use, Randomly Burns, Flimsy
Annoying to use and flimsy construction. You can’t preset the time like on every other toaster. You have to press down the lever and then tap the buttons to adjust the time. It takes several taps to lower the toast level. Bagel mode just burns. Uneven toasting. Feels flimsy for $70. The level feels like it will break.
Countdown timer!!
Great roaster at a great price. Love that this is digital and a long slot. The countdown timer is an underrated feature. You know when your toast will be done like a microwave!
