I'd strongly recommend them to anyone! Sturdy & good looking

These counter height stools or chairs are great and look wonderful in my new kitchen! Easy to assemble too!

Nice quality

The chairs appear to be a good quality. They are a decent weight. They are slightly rocky and did leave some white markings on my hardwood floors.

Love the chairs. Great wood quality; build quality is okay.

Tried putting together the 1st chair until I got to the seat. The seat only had 1 hole in the center and didn't match up with any of the holes in the chair frame. Called and they said that I'd have to get someone to drill holes in the seat! I've bought chairs b4 & not once did I have to drill holes in the seat. Overstock blames the company who made them. But Overstock should've stated that in the items description! I never would have bought them if I knew I had to drill holes in the seat! Overstock doesn't stand by the products they sale!

These counter stools work perfectly in our kitchen. They were fairly easy to assemble--the hardest part was attaching the seat to the rest of the chair. That was the only part that didn't have pre-drilled holes so that requires someone who has some skill with a drill. Overall they are sturdy and very comfortable for their price point.

I got these chairs because I needed the lower seat for my counter height bar. I like the 2 tone wood. They go well with the wood accents around the house, even though I have mostly painted wood and a tile floor in the kitchen. I got 2, and of course the first one was a bear to assemble. The holes do all match up for the bolts in the seat support and chair back, but only if the side (angled) bolts go in first and at the same time. They have to all 4 be started before tightening them, then the 3 back bolts can go in. Also, the cross bars must go in BEFORE tightening the two legs, which is opposite of the instructions. It took about 45 minutes to do the first one, and about 15 minutes to do the 2nd chair. Oh, and like others have mentioned, the seat has no predrilled holes to match those in the seat support, but that's no big deal. No drilling is needed as the screw goes right into the seat with a little elbow grease. Once assembled, the chairs are extremely sturdy. I'm happy. I will probably order 1 or 2 more for my counter. Less

Good value - Good Looks - Comfortable

Bought these stools to replace backless stools that came with a counter-height dining set (bought elsewhere). The black finish looks good and the cherry seats are a good contrast. The backs are a bit lower than expected, but they look great and most importantly are comfortable. Assembly was simple, requiring only a screwdriver. They get daily use and so far, so good. The foot rails are painted wood, so I expect those may show some wear at some point, but for this price, that's OK. Everything arrived quickly and the pieces were well packed with cardboard and styrofoam. Carton exteriors did show some handling, but the contents was fine. Overall good purchase and the best price I could find. Initially, Overstock didn't have the black/cherry combination available, but checked back a week or so later and they were available. Glad I bought four of them at that time. Less
