[Rewarded Review] Visually Nice Path Light
We were looking for path lights to install on our front walkway. I found the C Cattleya low voltage dark bronze hardwire led weather resistant path light and thought it would be perfect. The all metal construction it very durable and installation was very easy with quick connects. My only recommendation would be to include quick connects which are not included and had to be purchased separately. This way if you want to have multiple lights in a series, you don't have to splice the low voltage wire multiple times. The quick connects allow you to only pierce the main wire instead of having to splice it each time for each light. Other than that, the lights look great.
[Rewarded Review] Attractive and easy to install sidewalk light
I needed a small light for a dark section of the sidewalk heading to the front door. This low voltage light is perfect for that. It is a practical light with nice clean design. The metal has a dark bronze, matte finish. The light shines on the walkway, with some little side panels that provide ambient light. It is not too bright, just enough. Installation is easy enough if you already have a low voltage transformer. The longest part of installation is laying out the wiring and concealing it. Once assembled, push the spike end in the soil and connect the power. That's it!
[Rewarded Review] Clean More Design and Functional Lighting
We have been updated our home with items that are more transitional or modern than traditional. This path light seemed perfect with that design goal in mind. Assembly involves screwing the light to the post with one screw and screwing the stake into the post. Unlike most landscape lights sold at The Home Depot, this fixture has wire nut connectors instead of those two-part connectors that piece the wire. Wiring involves a bit more work to strip wires but the end result is a lot more conductor contact (see photos). Also, you can create a watertight connection with electrician’s tape. Better yet, seal the end of the connector with epoxy for a truly permanent connection. The amount of light and light disbursement is quite good in my opinion. The LED array is hidden behind a round, frosted plastic cover under the fixture cap (see photo). There is a very similar fixture available for about $15 less and only time will tell if there is enough advantage to justify the difference in price. Perhaps a bulk price would make the price difference less significant for some customers.
[Rewarded Review] Well-made and sturdy LED low voltage light!
This path light looks great. I like the aluminum construction of this light because it will not rust or warp. There are 4 LED lights that use only 4 Watts of electricity and it has a warm 3000K color.
[Rewarded Review] Aluminum metal construction, produces an ample amount of light
This C Cattleya path light has an integrated 4-Watt LED module. It produces 180 Lumens of 3000K soft white light. We like the broad pattern of light that this fixture produces. The protective shade cover should keep the light water proof and emits light from around the edges. It was very easy to assemble attach the light head with a single screw and screw on the supplied extra heavy duty stake. The construction is very solid powder aluminum metal with a nice dark bronze powder coated finish. The connectors provided are weather proof wire nuts and the lead wire is about 2 ft long. This helps make installation, quick and easy. The light produces an ample amount of light over a broader area than many path lights, while only using 4 watts of power. We have provided photos to aid the shopper.
[Rewarded Review] Bright + Sturdy
This Cattleya Low Voltage path light has a very modern look to it. The top and the post are made of surprisingly sturdy aluminum - it is definitely thicker gauge than some of my other lights. Almost paradoxically, the base/ground stake is made of plastic - I'm not sure why they did that instead of going all-metal. I needed one more path light; this doesn't match the others I have, but as they are mostly tucked into a row of shrubs I want it for the light, not the looks. And it puts out a good deal of light, at a 3000K color temperature (slightly yellowish). It comes with a nice long 3' wire tail, but no connector.
