I bought this desk because of the size of the top. It is perfect for putting my 1000 piece puzzles together. The drawer is a bonus for holding the box and cover.

Solid Wood Desk

This desk is solid wood and easy to put together. In the box are 4 pieces plus the hardware. The instructions could be better. For instance, I assumed all the screws were the same length but 2 are longer than the rest. Those two, I found out by process of elimination, are for attaching the leg brace. Then other 8 are for attaching the legs. The instructions don't make that clear. I also wish they had not put stickers on the back of the desk as all sides are finished and that part of the desk will show for me I am happy with my purchase. The desk is solid and heavy. I bought it to use with a sewing machine that can sew 1500 stitches a minute so I need something that won't vibrate while I'm sewing.
