received 3 of the 4 packages, had to wait a month for them to find the other package. Two pieces of the top frame were bent and creased, had to do some body work to get it together. Two of the drain pipes for the water to run down the post had the end pieces in the bottom separate and had to glue back on. Like the design but didn't have a great experience with my delivery and damage to the pieces.

After considerable research we settled on the Sarasota and are very pleased with the choice. It is solid and well made and doesn't leak in the rain. A great value.

Ordered 14 x 10 Saratoga Pergola for our lanai in Florida, the whole process went seamless, delivery was when they said, had Out of the Box do the installation, we didn’t want to bother with it, and besides they know what the doing with all the installations they do, took them 2 1/2 hours and done! Thinking of ordering another for our home in Door County but not sure of the snow load, only thing I wish it had would be electric louvre operation although the crank works fine! Love the way it compliments our outdoor area👍😎👍

Excellent Customer Service

I received my pergola very quickly and the boxes were in excellent condition. Sadly the locally contracted delivery carrier damaged my house while backing up his truck. I took photos and notated the damage on the delivery paper work, then contacted Customer Service. They responded immediately with a solution and everything worked out beautifully. I have rarely been so well treated.

Gorgeous, quality!

Team was very personable and helpful getting the item to me, good communication. My husband and I put this together ourselves (would recommend more people) but it was manageable! It is gorgeous. Quality. Makes my backyard feel cozy like a home, not just a slab of concrete. My dogs love it. I love opening/closing for sun/shade. Every one who comes over asks for a link so they can get one.

Solid weii-designed pergola

We bought this pergola a few months ago and love it! We installed party lights and it is now a delightful focal point of our yard. We already have 2 wooden gazebos in our yard and are ver happy that we now have a steel pergola that will not need any upkeep.

Great Pergola

This was definitely not a single person project, needed about 3-4 people to help build this pergola. We were able to complete the build in 1 days and it turned out great! We look how it came out and it does feel like it’s last strong winds (main reason we purchased it)

Love the design, but some flaws...

Am a former heavy truck/bus, now train mechanic, so I know my way around assembling stuff. This wasn't bad. However I did noticed several things, it's supposedly powder coated but I noticed a tiny paint chip on one of the pieces. Pretty insignificant, I just hoped it really is galvanized and doesn't rust on that spot. Additionally one of the shorter top beams had a bunch of dents in the middle. It's not too noticable ones the roof is closed, but when it's opened looks like Rocky Balboa used it for training. But the biggest gripe is the ceiling louvers. I put them all together exactly the same as far as end brackets, and placed into the slotted rails, and covered those slotted rails with the flat bar, and connected all the louvers with the straps with hitch pins, but underneath when it's closed, it's just not even. Some louvers dip down a bit, so while they appeared to be totally fine when unpacking, I'm not sure if they're slightly bowed? I can't really imagine what else would cause that. But I was really hoping it would be flat under the whole thing. Haven't had rain really yet since I assembled, so I'm hoping the rain truly does fall into the gutters & out and not through the questionable louvers because that would be a real shame... Maybe I'll call them and see what they think?

Exactly what we wanted!

I looked for a long time to find just the right pergola and am so happy with this Sarasota one. It looks amazing and is exactly what we needed in our backyard. It is very high quality!

Better than expected

Everything came out fine. Better than expected actually. I dropped it a star for a little bit of precision hammer adjustment I needed to make to get it together and because it isn't perfectly square assembled. It is really close like within an inch, but getting all the frame stuff to fut was a bit of a chore. that being said we love it. I would buy it again and I wouldn't hesitate to buy again from backyard discovery. Shipping was pretty quick and everything came packed well with no damage. we havent had any rain so I cant vouch for the water leaking or not, but a few drips wouldn't kill me. I just needed something to shade my bbq, smoker and pizza oven area. adding string lights to it this weekend with 3M clips. I like the power bar so I only needed one extension chord to power all my stuff. For the price it cant be beat.

Outdoor living lover

Did my research online and locally. Locally, price was outrageous so I decided to purchase online sight unseen. I couldn’t be happier. We had a 10x12 structure that we got from Home Depot several years ago and had to keep replacing the canvas top. I wanted a larger covered space and the 10x16 made all the difference in the world. It was delivered within the time frame indicated and in good condition with all parts intact/included. Lots of parts and pieces which was overwhelming but not for my go to handyman. It was not difficult or challenging for him to put it all together with a little muscle help from us. At this point, a couple weeks in, I am loving our purchase with no regrets!

Pergola

Just installed the 10 x 16 pergola and we love it. It had good instructions for assembly and took about 6 hours for 2 people. We would love it if you had the option for curtains.

The Perfect Modern Pergola

My patio desperately needed some shade and though I love pergolas, I didn’t feel that the traditional wooden pergola would work in my space. And temperature extremes plus wood leads to expensive replacements. This pergola is the perfect solution. Love the look. Structure is heavy duty. I added curtains and cafe lights. Couldn’t be happier.

Good looking and very sturdy

We have intense sun on our deck in the summer. We purchased this pergola for the deck and had I think it will be very effective in the summer. One of the factors in choosing this particular model was its strength and ability to withstand high winds which we get occasionally.

It has thus far, exceeded my expectations. I would like if they made a shade or pull down sun screen for the exposed sides.

Great Pergola

Nice product but some issues

I like the pergola but 5 out of the 6 post were twisted. So the base is not square. Tried everything to try to square up but nothing worked. You can actually see the twist in some of the posts.
