Had to replace an entire old Zadro unit due to old model having bulb discontinued (and unable to find replacement). New model extension did not rotate downward and so I had to return.

Perfect for our bath.

Nice Quality

After much searching we found the perfect mirror. Great features, extra large size, and a fair price. The optics are very good and the variable light is a real benefit. Make sure your space will accommodate the size as it does take up some wall real estate.

Worn out swing joints and not easy to tighten.

The joints are not easy to tighten and keep that way. My wife loves the mirror but I am always having to tighten the swing joints. My wife got the mirror as a gift and she loves it. However I am afraid that the constant tightening of the joints may wear on the electrical wire and short it out.

Love this mirror!

Took some time to find a quality product on the internet. Lamps plus came through with a mirror that will last many years. The light will be easy to replace.

The more I use it the more I like it. The lighted mirror is so helpful since my bathroom mirror is to far away. The swing arm is an added feature. No regrets here!!!

Best quality hardwired, lighted, 5x wall mounted mirror around.

This mirror is the best in it's category and I have tried a couple from another manufacturer. It feels solid and sturdy not like some others I tried. The (5x) magnification is perfect. I tried another brand that was a 7x magnification and it seemed like it was less than 5x from Zadro. The lighting on this mirror is more than adequate because you can adjust it to the brightness you prefer. The other mirrors I tried did not provide adequate light for grooming or putting on make-up. Another perk of this mirror, is that it is large enough to see your entire face. Finally, this mirror is hardwired so there is no dangling cord to plug in.

This is a large mirror! Advertised as the largest such mirror available on the market and I believe it. The product itself is very nicely made and of high quality. The size of the product, however, made it difficult for me to mount simply because it needed to be in a location that would allow the mirror to be unfolded freely. But that limited the options available in my particular bathroom setup. My situation was such that I could not mount the mirror against a wall stud which is unfortunate because the large size of the mirror, and the tightness of the arm swinging mechanism (you don't want a loose connection as the mirror wouldn't stay in place where you want it when you unfold/swing it) puts a lot of strain on the mount. Since I couldn't use a stud, I had to mount the mirror with the provided two (small) drywall anchors. I actually doubled the drywall anchors, using a total of four. Once installed, the four anchors held the mirror tightly. However, the strain of unfolding the heavy arm/mirror has already started to loosen those anchors. I highly recommend finding a spot in your bathroom or sitting room where the mounting plate can be screwed into a wall stud. If I had to reinstall this without a stud, I would use the screw-in type drywall anchors versus the kind you simply tap into the wall.

When I found this mirror on the Home Depot site I ordered it. I had been looking for a while in other stores. When it arrived I was surprised by the weight and size of it. It was much larger than I expected it is really solid and very good quality. One problem is that it is very heavy. When you install it, you will need to make sure you hit a stud or use anchor locks of some sort. It is brightly lighted but you are able to dim the lights with a small switch on the mirror. It is not a hard wired mirror. You will need a receptacle to plug it into. One side is magnified and the other is normal size. This mirror was a little larger than I expected but that was my fault as I didn’t fully read the dimensions before ordering it. If you are looking for a bright, large, heavy duty, wall mounted magnifying mirror, this would work well. I have rated this as I felt the average person might have some issues with mounting due to weight and with how large it is. The actual product is very well made.

This is a big mirror that is excellent for doing your makeup and seeing things super close up. With 5 times magnification you can really see every little thing. Very heavy duty with a lovely finish, be sure to use anchors or better yet screw it into a stud. The dimmable light is very nice especially of you don’t have great direct light in your bathroom. My only issue is how difficult it is to turn between regular mirror and magnifier, very stiff. They probably don’t want you turning it around and around since there’s electrical wiring inside. Looks great and works ok. But there were some problems with the design. The mirror is big and because of the lighting incorporated in the bezel, it's also thick. The mounting plate and two mounting screws that it comes with are inadequate. The mounting plate is designed to give you the maximum flexibility to find a good position that lines up with your wall stud. Consequently, there is a lot of cutout space in the plate. Making things worse, the plate thickness is relatively lightweight compared to the weight of the mirror. This causes a fair amount of flex in the plate as you extend and manipulate the mirror. I ended up installing two additional screws in the plate in order to make it rigid enough to hold the weight of the mirror and make it look like it wasn't going to pull off the wall. The hinges on the extendable arm and the mounts at the mirror that allow you to rotate between the X1 and X5 mirrors are excessively stiff. This adds to the feeling that you'll rip the mirror from the wall as you use it. I lubricated the joints and that helped a lot.

After buying this item I found another just like it that was almost $80 cheaper, I love the mirror but wish I looked a little more carefully
