Need a 24" hangning rod

I installed the 4-8ft titanium configurations deluxe Add-on? kit in my reach-in closet and very happy with how it turned out, but I need one more 24" hang rods to finish it for what I need. I have looked everywhere for one with no luck, even FB marketplace and craigslist. I called rubbermaid this morming and held for 15 minutes before I gave up. I can fill out a form that takes 1-2 days for a response. I'm surprised I can't just fine the info on this website for myself, but it's a poorly designed site for this day and age. I have so many things I have to do and i'm wasting so much time trying to find a 24" rod. I really like the titanium closet configuration and highly recommend it, just disappointed it's so hard, if not impossible, to locate one little hanging rod. Every other accessory seems readily available though.

This is an excellent closet system. My wife's closet is 6 feet long and this system gave me maximum flexibility to configure the closet for maximum storage. My favorite features were the expandible shelving and rod system. The shelving overlaps each other due to the slightly different widths (clearly marked A and B) and would easily lock into the supports (which accommodate the two overlapping shelves). This eliminated any cutting. What that truly means is that you can reconfigure the shelving system as your needs change...very cool. I also liked the expandible chrome hanging rods. They will extend in length as required from very short to very wide. I configured mine to go wall to wall in two layers, giving my wife 12 feet of hanging space on one side of her closet. This system also accommodated three shelves going wall to wall (18 ft) as well. I bought a second system for the other side of the closet with a completely different layout with shorter hanging rods for pants, a hanging space for long dresses, and plenty of shelves for shoes. This is a high-quality system that has a very clean look (I used white) and comes with all the items necessary to install the closet system (down to the screws). The only thing I didn't like was the drywall plugs that came with the system in case you couldn't find a stud to anchor the top rail. They are really hard to install, go buy something else for a couple of bucks and you will be much happier. I highly recommend this closet system.

Maximize! Tripled guest bedroom closet storage. The combinations are endless. The only negative is that the anchors provided are useless and dangerous. Used Toggler heavy duty Anchors 1/4 Toggle bolts each holding up to 265 pounds.

This was so easy to install and it made a HUGE difference in the amount of clothing I can fit in my small closet. I will be buying them for the other bedrooms in my house. My closet is 5ft and the flexibility of this system makes it look custom fit. Highly recommend, just be sure you know what layout you want ahead of time and it will go together fairly quickly.

There are a lot of different configurations you can do, and they have all the examples to look at on the box, it's up to you to mix and match what best suits your needs. There were more possibilities for my situation than I could count!

I just installed the Configurations Closet as part of my 15 year old child's complete bedroom redecoration - she loves it! I thought the room painting was going to be the easy part and the closet system the hard part, but it seems the situation was reversed! After reading many reviews and contacting Rubbermaid directly, I chose Configurations because it met our needs best, came in Titanium which matches the new "industrial" feel of the room and landed squarely at the right price point. Installation was super simple and everything is solid and looks great. Some reviews commented on this system not being as deep as others, but for us, the greater depth would have created a problem with upper shelf access, so I prefer this one over the others I considered. I was also able to use the hardware provided with the kit and didn't need to purchase alternative anchors like some commenters of other systems. Do your homework and make sure the system you purchase will work with your space, take your time, and you will be fine. As a reference, I live in a twelve year old home and am a mom in my 50's, but handy. Shout out to all the awesome employees at my Home Depot(s) for helping me get my MANY projects done this past year!

Great closet system...versatile, affordable, study, and looks nice. We completed 3 walk-in closets and can't wait to replace the rest. The only thing I would recommend is to replace the provided anchors with toggles for drywall. Other than that, the instruction is very easy to follow and the installation is easy for a simple DIY project.

I also needed to have the flexibility to remove shelves as access to the attic is through a panel in the ceiling in the closet. EXCELLENT...Love It!

We remodeled our house and increased the size of our closet to make it walk-in. I had looked at several styles but this one was the most affordable and I liked the options. I read the pros and cons in the reviews. It was simple to install and allows me to change the arrangement of shelves. etc as my lifestyle changes. My husband installed in about 2 hours. Instructions were simple and all the parts were in the box with different layouts and we chose the one best for us. I would definitely recommend this closet system to anyone.

I researched lots of organizers and this was the best by far. My husband and I bought two for my walk-in closet and I love it!!! I have twice the space now than before and everything is neat & organized. Everything we needed plus extras came in the boxes. Once he found the studs & we measured, the rest was really easy. Very, very study and can be customized to meet your individual needs. I've already ordered one for another closet.

A Custom Closet for the Rest of Us

If you've ever considered someone coming out to your home to install a custom closet, you eventually find out that this is an extremely costly proposition. Custom closets run in the thousands of dollars! If you are willing to do it yourself and are can forgo the wood cabinetry, this is a reasonable alternative. Sure it won't wow your neighbors, but how many of them are going into your closet? This system has the right amount of customization to meet most people's needs. You can purchase additional pieces (i.e. drawers, shoe shelves, belt racks etc.) online. Give yourself a day to clear your closet out, decide on a layout that will work best for you and installation. You also may want to go by your nearest hardware store to pick up a few extra drywall anchors and screws if you are going to load this system to the max.

A hint to maximize use in odd-size closet...

HINT: We used their 22" spacer between verticals, as instructed. Knew that would leave us with extra space on 1 side of closet...but with last vertical at 8" space and hanging rods to bridge the 22" and 8" spaces, it's all usable. So PLAN your vertical layout carefully and you won't end up with any wasted space!
