The blades showed white but the edges were wood tone it also show defect in shade cover that you would see when light is on.

Fantastic Ceiling Fan with Light

I was looking for fan blades with a dark finish that produced true light, not the yellow haze many put out. I also wanted modern but without being too modern. The polished silver finish is very nice, the wood finish is perfect. The opposite color is a soft slightly grayish white, not bright white that gets lost on a white ceiling. The dome is secured by hidden screws, the pulls do not drag against the housing. It operates smoothly and quietly, which is important for us, as it is in a nursery. The price was the lowest online. No one could beat their price. It shipped quickly and arrived in perfect shape from one Coast to the other! My fan did come with the wrong color pulls (natural pine) but customer service contacted Savoy, confirmed the error and are having new ones, in polished silver, sent to me. Simple design but attention to details is amazing. Easy to install. Quiet operation. Great lighting fixture, illuminates nicely.
