Good finish on the product. The bolt works well and stays in place in both the open and closed positions. Install was easy.

Looks good - slides smoothly

Updating whole house from dated polished brass to Satin Nickel hardware, and this was an 'almost' exact match to the previous. Note, base is almost an inch shorter than older ones, and required some re drilling, but no painting. Other hardware fit existing holes, and screws heads were ok, if hand tightening (a drill/driver or impact drill would likely wreck them).

The slide bolt and the two plates are nice. The problem with this item, and many made in China are the screws that come with it are soft Chinese junk and round out when the screws are installed. Come on Home Depot...stop buying low quality products, 90 percent of your customers would pay more for good quality products made in America.

Good idea wrong size

I'm looking for a lock that will work on a sliding barn door. Saw this one and was very hopeful. Have not installed it yet but it looks to be of really good quality. There may be an issue with the size,maybe just a little too big.
