Quality product and an affordable price. Easy to understand directions. Easy installation. We purchase this as a replacement for a cheaper, inferior product. The previous product fell apart after just a few years. The Schlage's quality is visible as soon as it is removed from the box.

I initially purchased this lock for my salon. I love the idea that I don’t have to use a key when I enter. It was easy to program. I just bought another one for my house because my kids always losing keys. Now I don’t have to worry about that.

[Rewarded Review] Pretty good, but not great

Install was pretty straight forward, but a few things bother me. The exterior side deadbolt knob is very loose and feels cheap. Using a key to unlock the door also takes some playing around to learn how to do it. Once you learn that you need to spin the key and push inward until it finds its “notch”, then it usually works. However, it shouldn’t be that tricky to just open or lock a door with a key. The key can be tricky to remove as well.

I've had to replace my daughter's front door lick several times (frustrating) but, that's what Dad is for. She picked it out and I installed it in about 20 minutes. What a breeze! The videos were very helpful as well. Thank you SCHLAGE!

easy for a woman to put in . duck tape is your friend. put two in not problem programed before putting them in . It was hot outside and didnt want to spend time outside .

We just purchased this product for installation on our new front door. It is a solid product, easy to install, and simple to use. All information is straightforward making this mechanical keypad a top big bang for the buck product.

Very good, heavy duty quality. Installed for a few weeks now and working fine, no problems so far. It could have somewhat less expensive. Recommended.

This deadbolt keypad and latch was easy to install with easy to understand directions. Installed it within an hour and it appears to work as described. My only knock on it if it’s even fair to do so is I wish it had an auto lock setting or function. I probably could have found a model that did this but grabbed what was available. Good product.

Good quality set.

I changed every lock and door set in the house to Schlage. Great quality and easy for the most part to change out. However I was disappointed in this set because it carries the Camelot theme but the door lever just has a round decorative plate around it. So I ordered a separate lever set with the Camelot design and replaced the other one. One more thing it says the buttons are illuminated but the only one that lights up is the Schlage button.

Can't be used with storm door

I was so disappointed when I had my new entrance door and screen door put in, only to find that once this lock was installed I couldn't close the storm door because the keypad hardware stuck out so far that it hit the storm door hardware. Even without that issue, I might have returned it because it was very difficult to use with the key, and hard to know if it actually locked. I'll be so happy to have a plain out deadbolt in my new door, then probably going with a Wyze lock.
