Defective product and no customer service

I ordered this to replace a broken shower handle; the part that I received is defective. It is too loose and will not tighten when I fastened it to the shower. I wrote to American Standard on their website asking for a replacement part, but I never received a reply. Now I have to find the time to call them.

Poor parts management.

The repair part that I received was not what was ordered and the part number on the container did not even match the correct part number that was on the seller's invoice.

The handle came in 2 days earlier than expected. Fit perfectly. Very Happy!

This is a good-looking handle, nicely made of what appears to be chrome-plated brass. Although the shape is slightly different, it resembles the porcelain handles used on the circa-2000 version of the Williamsburg faucets, which American Standard no longer sells. The mounting is considerably different, but this handle can be made to fit with quite a bit of effort and a few parts not included with the handle. Still, it's a heckuva lot easier than replacing tub/shower faucets.

I installed a Hampton faucet (porcelain handles) almost 15 years ago. The porcelain cracked due to water incursion. I initially was searching for porcelain replacement handles but those don’t appear to be available anymore, probably due to the tendency to fail over time. So I picked up these chrome ones and I actually think they look nicer than the original porcelain handles. No instructions came with these handles, so it took me a minute to figure out that the end cap needs to be removed, then a screwdriver can be inserted to fasten the handles, then replace the end caps. Beautiful, different appearance in the tub at a reasonable cost.

Exact replacement of what we needed.

The quality of these handles is seems good. But, be cautioned. The website does not provide the screw size. I was replacing Pfister handles and these do not fit. They are also non-returnable. I spent $45 for three handles that I cannot use.

I already alerted Home Depot that my order was incomplete...that the cap was missing leaving the handle look incomplete. So, to get my "Excellent" rating, please send my missing faucet handle cap so that I can cap my uncapped new faucet handle that I purchased from HOME DEPOT. Thanks for asking.

This was exactly what we were looking for.the hollow venter permitted us to replace a broken porcelain handle on our shower and avoid replacing the entire component.

Useless piece of junk. Shaft inside spins freely so cannot be threaded into the female end of the faucet. Returned to my local store without issue. Love Home Depot but no more American Standard products in our home.
