Beautiful lamp bases but cheap looking shades.

The lamps with the glass orbs are beautiful! I was hoping they would be perfect. And they were until I saw the lamp shades. Personally I thought they looked cheap. The one shade is worse than the other, but they are "puckered" at the bottom of the shade where the trim is sewn on. From a distance, they looked like paper shades. I have to return them.

clear glass and brush nickel lamps

We purchased these for our master bedroom which is painted in gray tones with plum accents and they fit the style we wanted beatifully. They are not crystal but clear glass with nickel accents. They are large so our bedroom is huge and they did not look overpowering at all.

Easy to fit in any decor!

I bought this lamp for my 88 year old father in assisted living. We like it because the price is right, it takes 3 way bulbs (he likes to leave it on lowest setting at night in his apartment's TV room), and it brightens up his room. The base of the lamp is heavy and we like that feature because it can't be easily tipped over. The shade has clean lines and fits nicely with the lamp, even though it wouldn't be considered "expensive looking." The switch is easy for him to turn on and off. I could imagine this in a bedroom or any formal living room where brighter lighting is needed, as a side lamp which would simply compliment the main décor lamps. My father is pleased. It was packed well and came to us in a timely manner.

Beautiful Lamp

This is a beautiful lamp, just the right height. I love the combination of Nickel and Glass as it goes great in my bedroom or could be used in other rooms too. Easy to assemble, and I love the 3 way light because I can start off low in the morning and increase the light as my eyes adjust.
