Reviews
I bought the desk and side table together, so thought my review of side table was for both side table and desk combined. Love them both - well constructed, solid feel. The modesty panel on the matching desk is held in place with magnets, so it's easy to remove, run wires, and then put the panel back in place. Very clever!
This desk and return are excellent looking but have a couple of concerns. The depth of the desk gives a limited amount working surface space. Also the cord management system is a fail. The computer cord doesn't fit in the slot so you end up having to run the cord on the outside of the desk.
Absolutely love this desk. I have had other products from Bdi before and this was just as good and did not disappoint! It even had a perfectly fit mouse pad in the drawer.
Best desk ever! I've moved it multiple times and it remains beautiful and functional. Love the glass top with the lovely grained white top.
Good quality desk
great looking. clean lines and functional. we purchased it for a home office.
Ordered this for a commercial office reception desk. They really should show you what the front of the desk looks like, since it's facing out it was a gamble. It is very hard to find a nice small desk with an apron/long front. It is basic looking but nice. Am happy with this purchase. Took off 1 star just because of the price for what it is is a little high. Came with a computer pad also.
This desk was very nice. It was a little shorter than other desks, so just be aware of that before you order. Very heavy, relatively easy to assemble.
great desk...looks sharp in my work office...just be careful a little about the glass top

Frequently Asked Questions
What factors should I consider when choosing a desk for a home office?
Consider the desk size, storage needs, material, and ergonomic design to ensure comfort and productivity.
How can I maximize space with a small desk?
Use vertical storage solutions, organize cables, and keep only essential items on the desk to maximize space.
Is it better to have a desk with or without drawers?
It depends on your storage needs. Drawers offer built-in storage, while a desk without drawers may offer more legroom and a cleaner look.
What are the optimal desk dimensions for a home office?
The desk should be at least 32 inches (81 cm) deep for a slim monitor and about 39 inches (99 cm) wide for ample working space. The standard height is about 30 inches (76 cm).
How can I use different interior design styles together?
Juxtaposing different styles, such as placing an old-fashioned desk next to a modern chair, creates a visually interesting space. Maintaining a balance between styles is key.
What are the ergonomic considerations for a home office desk and chair?
The desk height should be approximately 30 inches (76 cm), with enough space under the desk for your legs — at least 24 inches (61 cm) for a desk chair with legs. For a chair with castors, a clearance space of 28 inches (71 cm) from the desk's edge is recommended.
How much space is required for a comfortable desk chair?
A chair with legs needs around 28 inches (71 cm) from the nearest desk edge, while a swivel chair requires more space due to its mobility.
What is the ergonomic height for a desk chair?
The seat of a desk chair should be about 18 inches (46 cm) high, with adjustable armrests for lateral and height movement.
What are the key measurements for ergonomic furniture design?
Work surfaces should be about 36 inches (91 cm) high, with at least 8 inches (20 cm) of legroom under the work surface, and office chairs should provide 28 inches (71 cm) of space for legroom.
