Big Disappointment

I have bought and assembled many Sauder items in the past and have always found them to be well thought out, quality made, easy to assemble products! NOT THIS ONE! This was the first unit I've received that had the push in Cam Dowels vs the screw in's and also the first time using the "double dowels". The cam dowels, have very small "heads" and when seated correctly do not provide enough for the hidden cams to grab and tighten up. The double dowels have the same issue as the cam dowel and provide a very flimsy connection especially for the straight connection they are designed for. There were also multiple alignment issues with predrilled holes for both the cam dowels as well as both long and short wooden dowels that no matter what would simply not line up at all.

I bought these to go on top of the library storage cabinet and they are perfect! Easy to install, definitely recommend.
