It's nice but the drawers are too shallow

Confusing instructions

The instruction booklet, although detailed, was confusing at times for how the illustrations were laid out (i.e. first step to be taken on the page was at the bottom rather than top). Some of the pieces were not labelled as indicated in the instruction pamphlet. It advertises as "light assembly" required, but this is a full assembly item. Almost impossible to do alone from a physics standpoint (someone needs to hold some pieces steady while assembling) and drawers catch when closing. Had no problems assembling Ikea furniture of a similar nature on the same day. Would not recommend.

Good quality, great look, but a bit of a challenge to assemble.

This sturdy table fits into our limited space well.

We created a comfortable historical research spot so patrons can share our library. We are a small museum and this table fits our space well.

It's exactly as pictured. Everything arrived in perfect condition and the directions were very detailed. The desk is very sturdy. I would recommend it for quality to cost.

Salt Oak Writing Desken

I used two afternoons to put it together. Solid feel to it. And it is the right height for me to get my long legs underneath. I use it for my computer work (emails, video and reading files). I am very pleased with the look and feel of this product. I would recommend buying it.

I wanted a solid wood desk I’m 85 years old I can’t assemble or move. Manufactured wood desk. The fault is mine not Walmart’s. I didn’t read the add well enough.

Perfect desk for a museum display

I bought this to use at our model railroad historical society for a ""train order operator"" desk. It has that old time industrial look about it. The sturdy desktop will be ideal to bolt vintage telephone and telegraph instruments to. I was especially pleased with the large main drawer, so I won't have to fold the ""train sheets"" like I used to with another desk. Sauder kits are always fun to build and this one was no exception.

Once assembled, the desk looks great. The colour looks nice against our wall. The only negative is that you have to read through all the instructions first before assembly. We started on page 1 and had to undo some of the screws to make the parts fit. Other than that, we would buy Sauder furniture again and as a matter of fact, we purchased 2 wardrobe/storage units to put in our newly finished basement.
