Very solid, looks good, and drawers slide well. Considerable amount of assembly required but not overly difficult.

Don’t do it

This is the most trash piece of furniture I’ve ever bought. Putting it together was a nightmare that nearly drove me homicidal. Pieces were cracked beforehand, the screws were far too long for the handles so they’re wobbly, once you turn it upright all the pegs work their way out so you can’t even insert drawers, and if by some miracle everything is solid, the drawers are so wonky, sticky, uneven that it looks a mess by the end. The only thing making me hesitate from returning it is that I never want to touch it ever again.

A good looking chest and value for the money

We like this four drawer chest. We have it paired with a Design within Reach Matera bed and the two shades of Walnut work well together. My husband put it together and it wasn't quite a easy as some people said in the comments but he persevered and got it done with one broken part--his fault. The customer service at Sauder was excellent and he had the replacement part in several days and the chest is looking good and working well. It is a value for the money.

Very nice overall. I was impressed with the quality of this dresser and surprised by how sturdy it was once put together! Had a ton of steps and took awhile to put together but It looks fantastic and I love that it has a ton of space.

pass on this one

I wanted to like this. Its basically particle board. Pretty easy to put together. BUT the top drawer holes were off so I have to drill new holes to make drawer go in easier. Really tempted to return it. Disappointed

Sturdy

I really like the dresser, it's very sturdy and has clean lines. It's not too difficult to put together but you do have to pay attention to some of the details. The drawers are not too deep but it works for my 13 year old. Eventually I do plan to get him another dresser to match this one and fit more clothes, sheets etc. The corners are pretty sharp. Be careful when nailing the handles on the long screws are a bit too tong and the wood starts to break. My husband used smaller screws. But overall I am pleased with it and would recommend.

Love this in my room!

This piece is so gorgeous in my bedroom. The color was true to the online pictures and matches my walnut lamp perfectly! The instructions were easy to follow and even included some funny commentary. I would recommend this chest to anyone!

Not bad, not good, definitely not worth the price.

- Appearance: Looks great from a distance. The dark veneer is a nice color, in-store pickup with no defects either, but even when installed properly a drawer or two doesn't line up in an even fashion.

For 200???

I wish the drawer space went all the way to the top to the handles. The handle screws weren’t easy to put in. The directions were pretty clear. The dresser is sturdy but I can’t get over the smell it has. I mean for 200 it’s not bad but I think I could find a better one else where. Still debating on returning. And my delivery took 3 weeks almost 4.

I really like this dresser so far! I put it together myself in about 2 hours. It wasnt hard to do, it just took some time because there are a lot of screws/nails to put in. The only reason this doesnt have 5 stars is because the pilot holes were sometimes too small for the screws and I needed to use a power drill even though the instructions said that you wouldnt need power tools.

This chest was purchased for my daughter who moved into a small apartment. The assembly was relatively easy although a bit involved. The instructions were clear and the tools/parts were included. I also loved the inclusion of a few extra spare parts. Nice product for a starter home

Nice dresser

Nice, heavy dresser and the drawers are a nice size. I wish the pilot holes (whatever) were a bit deeper, some of the screws were really hard to get in - especially the ones on the handles. Over all it is a good purchase. I really enjoyed the motivational bubbles in the directions

Only one problem, one of the front draw panels holes were drilled on wrong side . I used it on the bottom draw looks ok had to dirill holes on correct side myself. Other wise looks great.

very nice

I could have put this together myself. My husband helped some and it didn't take long. We didn't have any defective pieces. Everything went together well. The drawers are deep like we needed for his clothes. He said it looks better than he had expected.

[Rewarded Review] Large drawers

This piece took me 1-2 hours to build. And out of the dresser, night stand and this piece this one probably gave me the most trouble. Ups did make a hole in the side of it lucky for me it's on the interior and not where it can be seen or where anything attached to it. I had trouble getting the frame built on this one but it finally happened and I am very happy with the size of the drawers and over all look.

The perfect chest of drawers

Beautiful chest of drawers. the wood on the outside was just rustic enough for our decor. The chest went together in about an hour and a half. Hubby just followed the directions and it was easy.

Buy If your theme is rustic !

This dresser fits perfectly in any home. The wood is just the right color to match any type of furniture. The draws are big and can fit alot. I received it damaged but luckily I can hide the hole in the draw.
