Do not buy this

While there is a thin layer of wood on outside of each piece the majority is poor quality press board. While attaching the shelf to side the shelf swayed and pulled screws completely out of side piece and press board destroyed. Could not be reattached again. Unable to assemble or use cabinet Very expensive for unusable junk

I bought this product for my bar items, like glasses, liquor, and drinks. All fit well, the height of shelves are at a perfect height for the items. I can add a picture if I can. It is the same as shown. I love the color, very attractive. The assembly was easy. The instructions were clear. I needed a little help to hold the back when I was assembling the back to hold the back piece still so that it would not escape from the screws. The display is very sturdy, and beautiful. I just love it.

I want to love it!

I love the pictures of this table/bookcase-the style, the color and the way it fits with my decor. However, while it said assembly required, I thought maybe a door or two or a knob needed to be put in place. Well, two attempts later, the pieces are sitting against the wall and I am looking for more cam screws and dowels to try again. Did I say I really like this cabinet? I followed the instructions exactly but the pieces all fell in a pile when I placed the top on. Third time is a charm! I'm committed--or will need to be if I fail again. Haha. I would rate this cabinet 5 for design and beauty but 1 for not being clear about how much technical assembly this requires.

Beautiful, but a nightmare to assemble!

First of all, the cabinet is beautiful and just the color that was advertised. I would have given it 5 stars all day long if I were reviewing only the looks. The reason I'm giving it only 3 stars is because the assembly was a nightmare. I'm not inexperienced in putting this type of furniture together, so I know what I'm doing. I've done media centers, bed frames, bookshelves, desks, etc. This one was, by far, the worst that I've dealt with. I found that most of the pre-drilled holes were not deep enough, making it next to impossible to manually tighten the screws. The hidden cams and cam screws didn't seem to match each other in size, so every connection between them was very loose. When I got to the step to set the unit upright, it was so wobbly that I was afraid it'd collapse. I rechecked every screw and cam connection trying to get those cams tight without success. I continued through the steps and, in the end, after the back panels were on, it was less wobbly, but still not adequately stable. That was yesterday. Today, I decided to take it all apart and start from scratch, but using wood glue on all surfaces. I also used my drill to really tighten all of the screws as I reassembled it. The directions say not to use power tools, so that isn't an endorsement from me, but I felt it was the only chance I had to make it sturdy. In the end, it's more sturdy, and it looks very nice in my home. I don't know if this is a quality control issue or a design flaw because most of the reviews (from this retailer and others) are good, though some did seem to have the same issues that I did in putting it together.

Indigo Blue Cabinet

Beautiful, well made. Was a two-person job to assemble. I use it to store kitchen appliances, looked all over to find this size. Very happy with purchase.

Poor quality, wobbly.

The first thing I noticed when unpacking this cabinet is that it is a much darker blue than the photo. Very dark, almost black. Some of the pieces have the paint scuffed off from rubbing together during shipping. Most notably is a large scuff mark in the middle of the top of the bottom shelf, which is very noticeable. Assembling was fairly simple, but some of the screws would not tighten, like the holes were loose or stripped. The entire cabinet is creaky and wobbly. I have it pushed up against a window sill, which helps stabilize it somewhat. I had to put a piece of cardboard under one of the legs so that the doors would open and close without scraping against the top of the door frame.

Beautiful color and finish

I bought this a week ago, it got here on Friday. I put it together Friday night. It took me a while as I was doing it alone. In one of the reviews I read, it said to have someone else help put the doors on. I strongly recommend this. That probably took most of the time. Once I got it done, I was very happy with it and myself! I’m having fun decorating it now.

Hinges!!

Assembly was going great till the hinges. As another reviewer wrote, instructions do not tell you proper installation of hinges and the holes are not aligned properly. Very frustrating

Like it but cheap construction

I love the color and like the finished product but find the construction a little cheap and the magnets don't hold the doors closed very well.

A little off

We received the item and one of the legs was broken. Because it was a direct ship, we had to contact the manufacturer directly and have the part shipped. Also the color in the picture is a brighter blue than the item. I would say the color in the picture looks more royal blue. The item l got looked more Navy. We hope to get it put together soon...as soon as the part arrives.

I purchased this cabinet last week. Easy to put together, well made wood. Looks classy in my dining room. Got a lot of compliments on it.

I bought two of these to use in my craft room. I loved the royal blue until I unpackaged them to find out they are dark navy blue. One went together fine. The other was split at the bottom and it was not a shipping issue. It was packaged BROKEN. Who packages broken merchandise????
