Good product for the cost

Shelving pieces were heavy composite wood. Side pieces were okay and doors are composite but flimsy. My product arrived damaged. Large front door was broken. It remains to be seen how company responds to this problem.

Sturdy product, well engineered 93/100

This product will be used to hold sheets and other linens. Overall, the unit is quite well, engineered and solid. The best part is the instructions, they are excellent. 4 hrs to assemble but worth it.

Not what we expected from Sauder

Having easily assembled great USA made Sauder products in the past, we expected the same from this cabinet. WRONG! Poor quality particle board, difficult to assemble, made in Malaysia. Sauder should be ashamed their name is associated with this product. The only good thing I can say is that now that it's finally assembled, it looks basically as we expected, other than the doors are uneven due to the placing of the pre-drilled hinge placements.

Poor Quality, leans to the side

I was really excited about this for my laundry room, but I am pretty disappointed in it. It's very cheap looking in person and even on our even floor (I checked) it leans to the side so the doors don't line up and the drawers don't close well. I took out the rod for clothes as it was falling LOUDLY on the floor if you even brushed it with your hand. It's WAY too expensive for the quality and I wish I hadn't spend the money on it. I don't even feel like I can store all of my cleaning supplies or towels in it for fear it will fall apart. It's holding toilet paper and sunscreen and that's about it. I gave it 2 stars because I like that it has drawers and the instruction for putting it together were clear (but use your own tools).

Love the look and size could be a bit sturdier.

I looked for a long time before deciding on this cabinet , I needed something to organized my fur babies and all their stuff like jackets / clothes, leashes and collers , (yes they have several jackets being Chihuahua's ) as well as their toys and treats . And this cabinet was exactly what I was needing , and I loved the look of it but , after using it daily I just wish it was a bit more sturdy ,because the top draw has came apart multiple times , and I made sure to not put to much weight in it at all and also , I am not sure if it is because of it being on Carpet but it has started to sag a bit in the middle and again it's not because It's over full either. If you are only planning to use it for extra storage and not planning to open it multiple times a day It would probley work perfect. But over all it has a great look and it is a good size as well .

Love this cabinet!

This is the perfect utility closet! I have been looking like this for something for awhile. I live in an old house without much storage. So nowhere to organize and store my vacuum, mop, broom and other household accessories. It is super had to find a cabinet that does not have at least one fixed shelf that doesn’t allow for taller items like brooms etc. I put this together by myself. Just make sure you don’t lose any pieces! There really aren’t any extras!

Poor quality.

This product is very very poor quality. The instructions are very clear and detailed but in the end it came out lopsided. The holes are poorly aligned. The handles are not lined up and the doors overlap the top edge. One drawer broke at the screw hole with minimal pressure because it is made of cheap particle board. The white paint is thin, looks like it needed one more coat. There are corners where it is obvious that the paint was touched up manually.

The structural integrity is not as good as I would have hope

The assembly instructions are easy to follow. The structural issue is the drawer assembly. The drawers are made of particle wood and the sides attach using Cam Screws. The Cam Screw broke through the particle wood essentially making the drawer impossible to complete. Luckily, we were able to take some long screws and repair the drawer. The bottom of the drawers are not wood - they are cardboard! The back of the dresser is cardboard too. ! I expected wood from a Sauder product.

HomeSqure is great. Wardrobe Armoire pieces are rather thin - not super sturdy

We purchased two of these Sauder Select Wardrobe Armoire units. The center board provides nearly all the structural support. The sidewalls are quite thin. They look OK. Installing the drawers to provide clean lines above and below the drawer face is difficult, if not impossible. One of the drawers doesn't slide back in properly w/o some significant angular force. I don't expect these to last more than a few years. I would not purchase again.

Disappointed

After three different attempts for this to be delivered without visible issues to the box/cabinet pieces Im SO disappointed in the quality of this cabinet. Several pieces have the pre-drilled holes in the wrong location and the finished white side of pieces seem to be on the opposite sides so the top of my cabinet is not finished. Very weird. After being Frankensteined together, Im almost a little nervous to even open the doors and drawers because they seem like they could break at any moment. Everything is so fragile and flimsy. This is the perfect cabinet for my needs and space, but I wish it was better quality. I should have listened to the other reviewers. :(

I would not recommend

I have purchased several Sauder products, and have never been disappointed. . . . until now. I bought 2 of these for storage in our newly refinished basement ""storage room"". Thin, flimsy doors and sides, the handles/hardware are too large for the front panel, letting the handles ""float"" as you try to pull the doors open. The drawers do not open smoothly, and I am half afraid to put anything in them for fear it will fall out the bottom. I never write reviews, however, both my hubby and I decided it was a necessity to warn others on this particular piece after we completed the assembly. Sauder - please review this product and find some ways to improve upon it!

Very cheaply made, broken immediately following assembly

Purchased this cabinet for extra storage in an office. It arrived very timely and with all necessary parts for a fairly easy assembly that took 2 people less than an hour. Assembled it looked very nice and was perfect for what we wanted. The problem is that it is very lightweight and flimsy, it has quite a bit of movement side to side and when sliding it a few inches back to the wall into place the entire front kick plate broke out and the front side corners are bowed out, causing it not only to lean forward and require propping but the drawers are no longer able to be used as they will not reach both sides of the runners. Unsure if (even being quite handy with carpentry) it will be fixable.

Cheap Price and Cheaper Quality

If you're looking for cheap, this is it. Cheap price and even cheaper quality, which means the value is poor. This is--hands down--the cheapest piece of furniture I've ever seen. Assembly was somewhat difficult. The first one took several hours, the second about two. I was very careful for the directions to assemble it as meticulously as possible, but the quality of materials was so poor that was difficult. The thing began to come apart even when gently scooting it on our smooth concrete floor. I could go on and on, but you get the picture. You want cheap? This is the furniture for you.

Really pretty white shaker style rmoire, great buy

If you have someone who knows how to assemble furniture put it together, it will look really nice. In white, the shaker style doors look clean and crisp and really pretty, and overall looks much more expensive than it was. Could use a quick coat of white paint to brighten it up more, but once assembled the white was white enough and not a yellowy white. This is definitely made with cheap wood and doors are pretty thin and light weight, though they don't look thin when closed, will need to be secured to the wall, would not recommend for heavy kid use, but fine for adults and older kids. Tons of storage. Really pretty, would buy for another room for even more storage in our small house.

Not sure I would buy this product again, but would buy anoth

Bought the product to store hanging seasonal clothes and seasonal linen. Putting it together was difficult, Two pieces broke having to order replacement parts. Not very sturdy standing alone. Will have to buy brackets to keep the wardrobe steady. The one drawer I was able to put together the screws interfere with opening the drawer feeling as though the drawer may come apart. Really disappointed and this is my third piece. One have had for over 20 years and one I bought with this one which is much better. I like how it does not take up much room and the design. Hoping the rod for hanging clothes is durable.

A good purchase stops short of being a great unit.

Beautiful organizational closet

This made my laundry room look so organized and beautiful. I would recommend this product. The shelves are overly roomy to the point where I can store so many of our Costco sized bulk refill bottles of various chemicals (yeah, it was a problem), and our laundry items. The "closet" section didn't fit my ironing board, but that's okay. I'll probably install a separate shelf for that space or actually make use of the closet rod, unsure yet. The drawers are very nice and decently deep but don't roll very easily, so for that I'll probably have to add some extra greasing to see if that helps. Overall a good buy.

Disappointed in Quality

I bought this after reading the reviews and deciding that I needed two that matched. (Another one on the website with a similar style but better reviews didn't exactly match) I thought, "hey, how bad can it be?" Well, I am sorely disappointed in this purchase. It is seriously like thick cardboard or super thin plyboard. Did I keep it? Yes because I needed the storage. But every time I open a door, I cringe because it's so flimsy. I would not purchase this again. I would not recommend that you waste your money because it was not cheap.

Something so heavy be so flimsy

How in the world can something so dang heavy be soooo flimsy?! This cabinet isnt even a true white. It’s like an ivory next to our white cabinets. It doesn’t look good and it doesnt seem like it will last even 6 months. Super upset about this purchase. And who in the world is gonna take something this heavy and return it? I feel bad for the fedex guy that has to deliver this crap. Dont waste your $250 on this. I wish I could give this negative stars. I wish i would have listened to the other reviews. Here’s your donation of $200 some dollars Sauder. Thats the last of my money you will be getting

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

Iv had this now for 2 months and I even purchased the 3 year warrenty for this. It arrived with a broken shelf. Got it replaced quicky and easily, customer sevice was great! However since this thing is so flimsy it keeps getting out of line. By this i mean the door above the top drawer keeps falling down and rubs on the top drawer so you cant open it without it rubbing the door. To fix it i have to take out the screws and lift door back up and put screws back in but now they have all stripped so the door has to stay rubbing on top drawer. The material this is made of is a think cardboard ..MDF boared im assuming...so screws strip super super easy!! I can call customer service for new side panel and new door im sure but I have to tear it apart again to replace the side panel with the stripped holes but its been 2 months, im not ganna keep doing that!! I am returning this to the store.
