Beautiful wood but very fragile
Nice selection of various colors and some had some great grain patterns (Birds Eye maple, distressed hardwoods, burls). Some of the pieces were cracked though and the pieces are very fragile and brittle so that they would crack while holding from the edge. Handle them like it's made of thin glass
Not as pictured
if you're looking for the variety of colors included in the photo, we did not receive the variety of colors including blue as pictured. this was the primary reason why we bought this set over others and paid more.

These samples come unlabeled, so it's a guess as to what each species is. Not very helpful for people like me purchasing for client presentations.
