EXCELLENT VERY NICE WE LOVE IT

I bought a brown one. It’s stylish as well as being functional. It’s been outside in MN and has not faded, warped or cracked. It seems to be made of durable material. The lid fits very snug. I remember some reviews taking about storing bird food but it wasn’t this particular item (I was reading them while shopping for hours). It’s pretty dense material so I’m not sure on that. I have lots of experience with squirrels and know they are very determined but this would present quite a challenge. It was kind of pricey so I wouldn’t risk it.

Larger than if you purchased a similar item as a planter and a "planter" this size would cost more. It's sturdy and with cover on, it's attractive for winter plus protects your soil. A very attractive item to place anywhere around your home. Mine is actually right in front so it's super easy to get to. It's going to be a one tomato plant holder in the spring. It holds about 2 large bags of soil only so soil won't cost a fortune, maybe $20. depending on grade you purchase. You do have to put drainage holes in bottom if you want it for a planter

This is a very elegant way of storing trash. The lid fits tightly. I bought 30-gallon trash bags to put inside the bin, but it appears that the bag doesn’t quite reach the bottom. Nonetheless, I don’t think this will be a problem. I happened to find a rubber band just the right diameter to keep the bag secure inside the bin. I’ve used this several times already to toss various trash that’s blown into my yard and have not found it difficult to get the lid on and off. I am pleased with the purchase. I love it when something functional comes in a beautiful form.
