The detail and quality of this item is excellent. Durability made to last and withstand the demands of imaginative play for all ages. This item inspires my kids to be creative and play together in multiple ways. I would give this as a gift and I would recommend Schleich to family and friends.

Great Toy

My three year old grandson loves everything dinosaur themed so I knew he would be pleased with this one. It is very sturdy so will withstand rough play. He likes that the mouth opens! Definitely one of his favourite toys.

Bought this along with another dinosaur for my 2 year old grandson. He loves them. Rugged, detailed and appealing dinosaurs.

My boys’ favorite!

I bought this for my two toddler boys over a year ago and it is their absolute favorite! One of his hands did break off shortly after purchase which was disappointing but it doesn’t seem to bother them! Other than that, he has held up extremely well through… no paint issues or other breakage.

My son loves this! It's remarkably tough. It's decently large as well. This isn't some flimsy toy dinosaur, it's actually really strong. It also stays the same when my son uses it in the bathtub. If you have a little dinosaur lover, get them this!

[Rewarded Review] Attention to detail and accuracy

The Tyrannosaurus Rex rendition by Schleigh looks exactly like a mini version of the actual dinosaur. Quality of the toy made when I was a kid, which is hard to find nowadays. Beautifully painted-very realistic! The moving jaw adds more fun and interaction, making the toy experience more complete and giving more fun way to play. My son loves making the t-Rex roar and eat things! The plastic has good soft rubbery feel so that it doesn't slip from your fingers even when wet. Nice weight to it and does not feel like a cheap model. Overall, I see this toy lasting for several years and can be passed to siblings.

Made to last!!!

I bought this for my son when he was 2. My son is now 9 and his T-Rex has been camping, played in the mud, and taken hundreds of baths, taken then recovered, again and had been through 5 moves, and more. The T-Rex is still being played with almost everyday my 2 year old daughter. You'd think that any toy that has been through half of that would be falling apart, not this guy he still looks new. The only thing that looks less than allbrand new is the worn paint on toes from playing in dirt and sand for the last 7 years.

Durable and heavy toy that looks so good I use it as a work of art.

Figure of the Schleich Stone Monster looks great. It's the only stone monster figure I've seen. It only has 4 points of articulation: the waist turns, the shoulders each rotate and move a little and the jaw opens. However, I feel like the pose fits the character design, which is what makes it nice to look at on display. I don't play with it, I just use it as a sculpture. However, it is very heavy and looks durable enough to be played with by children.

The Schleich brand is a very high quality brand that anyone over the age of three would be happy to have in their collection. I said three because that is the recommended age for children. So if you have multiple children in your home, you are aware of this detail. And this Tyrannosaurus Rex is no exception, it is gorgeous. It is hand painted with attention to detail, a movable jaw and is heavy enough so it does not just topple over. The size is decent as well, this Dino should bring your child many years of joy. I think it would make a great gift for adult collectors too. The detail is just amazing, you will not believe how nice this item is, you will not regret your purchase of this fine collectible.

The detail and quality on this dinosaur is outstanding. The lower jaw opens and closes to show the ferocious teeth and tongue. My sons absolutely love this dinosaur and it gives their imaginative play a whole new world to explore. Listening to them roar and chase after other small dinosaurs is such a sight to see. The attention to detail on the skin makes it look so life like. Some of the best craftsmanship I’ve seen on kids toys. Must have for your Dino lovers!

[Rewarded Review] Exquisite Detail; A little sharp

I received this item for free to write a review and I also received two other of their dinosaurs to write a review as well. You can see them all in my 2nd picture. This is the adult Tyrannosaurus Rex figure. All of Schleich's figures are crafted with exquisite details and hand painted. These are very educational figures because of the close attention to detail. Just be cautious of the pointed areas on the figure if young children are playing with these toys. Because of the attention to detail, the claws and tips of tails are a little on the sharp side. You must see these figures in person to do it justice. The pictures cannot do justice to the tiny teeth, claws, all the detailed work put into these figures. Schleich is a name to remember for quality and realistic figures! My 6 year old niece LOVED all 3 of the figures she played with. She even commented that they "looked so real".

This Tyrannosaurus rex toy is great for all ages of dinosaur lovers! It’s not cheap looking and it’s colored well (no paint or blurred lines). Its sturdy construction makes it a durable toy that’s sure to last for generations. Our 5 year old nephew loved this gift and is now roaring at everyone with his pet dino! Lovely gift indeed.

Roar!! Bring to life the T-Rex, the king of dinosaurs, with this realistic looking dino in miniature form. Schleich out-does themselves with this realistic looking dinosaur with moveable jaw as he stands tall, posed with his tail out long. It has realistic colors and even has the muscle in the jaw when you open its mouth, revealing its numerous teeth. The detail in this figurine is AMAZING, as it has so many creases, scales, and even detail with the mouth down to the tongue looks greatly realistic. The neck and underside of its belly has a wrinkled look as it would with a real dinosaur! Little ones need to be careful with its teeth, though because they could hurt fingers if they put their finger in its mouth and try to shut it. It seems very sturdy and not made out of cheap materials by any means. This Schleich Tyrannosaurus Rex is recommended for age 5-12, which is around 11 inches long from head to tail. It is lightweight, and would make for a great gift for any dinosaur lover! The particular T-Rex I received does not match the picture shown in the advertisement, as it is missing the white dots and the detail under the eyes, and has more yellow than green eyes. It still has great quality and looks impressive!

We received this along with two other dinosaurs from this playset. It’s a classic T-Rex. Exactly what you think of when you think of a dinosaur. It is pretty big, but not to bulky for little hands. Love the detail on the skin/scales, claws on feet and hands, and even the mouth that opens. The color detail is also nice too.The mouth does open, but the arms and legs do not. It’s a great toy. We have lots of hours of play with this one.

My boys are obsessed with dinosaurs and these figurines are absolutely perfect! They are so detailed and made extremely well. Not only do they look great on display, they are durable enough to withstand the adventures of dino fanatic brothers. My boys love that the mouths open and close. I teach elementary school and I will be borrowing them from my boys to use during our dinosaur week. I know my students will enjoy having a life-like visual of what they are learning about. Great product!

This is the perfect accessory for the adult T Rex figure. The colors are a realistic medium green with black stripes and yellow accents on the forelegs and lower legs. The only movable parr is the jaw, which drops open to reveal a fearsome toothy smile. I plan to use this little fella with the adult in a diorama.

I received the Tyrannosaurus Rex Toy figure. This guy is colored green with yellow underbelly and yellow slashes on the sides. The most striking thing about this toy is the detail of the features and the different textures on the body of the figure. It is very precise and up to date as far as what is know about these extinct creatures. The lower jaw is hinged so, that it may be opened or closed. This would be perfect for anyone who is a fan of the T Rex. Weather it is used as a child's toy, a learning tool, or as a collection, it will not diasappoint. It came with a with a small brochure attached loosely to it's arm. This gives you some information about the real T Rex when it was alive. The height of the head stands just under 6 inches. The length from head to tail is just over 12 inches.

The Schleich Tyrannosaurus Rex dinosaur toy figure is a great toy for any kid or adult that is into dinosaurs. The jaw articulates so you can open and close the mouth. The arms on the Tyrannosaurus Rex do not articulate like some of the other dinosaur figures offered by Schleich. The paint and color on this toy is highly detailed and make this toy an excellent static display on a shelf.

This dino is exceptionally nice. It is well painted. Constructed so that it has no problem standing by itself. Has the fine details well executed such as teeth, claws, skin texture. Even its tongue curls up in its mouth as well as the jaw is hinged. It is sturdy and not soft and flimsy like some lower price dinos we have. This one would hurt if you stepped on it in a dark room for sure. It has given the family a lot of joy already during play time so far.
