Great on dishes - No scratching!

I've used this product for years. It hold the dish soap well. Doesn't scratch nonstick surfaces on pans or bakeware. Lays a long time before needing to replace.

WHAT HAPPENED to ScotchBrite products?!?!

I trusted & relied on Dobie sponges for over 10 years after trying them, but their quality/durability has decreased SIGNIFICANTLY the past few years. I thought it was just me, but after reading recent reviews, I'm not crazy after all. Just as others have described, the mesh is NOT what it used to be - a small hole starts and then consider the sponge a complete loss! Previously I would use them to wash plasticware, nonstick pots/pans, and glasses (no sharp areas to catch on the mesh), and they would last 2-3 months, then I would move them to the bathroom to clean my fiberglass tub enclosure! Like others, I continued buying them thinking I had gotten a few "bad" boxes. I bought them from different stores to see if that would improve my luck - even when the price continued increasing up to 40% more. I will NO LONGER throw away my hard-earned dollars! I stopped buying both the yellow & blue scrubber sponges years ago (PRE-pandemic) because the scrubbing section would separate from the sponge after less than 2 weeks. BTW...I never leave my sponges in water, roll & completely squeeze out several times after every use, and store upright on the counter to air dry. PS: Why won't the review allow me to select the recommendation of "0-Never"? I had no choice but to select '1" in order to submit this review!?!

Excellent product and going to order again soon!

I purchased this a while ago and just used it to clean the wood railing to our basement and the washing machine front loader rubber door seal and the bathroom tub. I am so pleased that it did NOT tear at all, so it was a joy to use it to clean with. Also liked how it rinses clean.

My mom has been using these since I was little. I now am a grandparent and really enjoy their cleaning power. I am careful not to use them on surfaces that I don't want to scratch. They are large, so I like to cut them right down the middle to the perfect size for me.

Love These Pads

I’ve been using Dobie pads for years and they continue to be my top choice. They’re great for scrubbing all types of surfaces even more delicate surfaces like non-stick or even fine crystal. They’re just so versatile. I always buy the multipack because I can save money but also because they do need to be changed monthly. I save old Dobie’s for really grungy tasks like the stovetop after which I toss them.

Sturdy and cleans great

I love these sponges. I have been using them for years, they work great at getting tough stains off the pots and pans. I rarely purchase any other sponge as they don’t actually seem to clean things off the pans like these do.

I’ve always gone to these because they’re durable, don’t scratch most surfaces, and I even make them last longer by sticking them in the dishwasher with a load to prevent the mold/mildew smell. I don’t waste my time on any other sponge.

Yellow Dobie pad turns pale blue after use...

I've been using the pale yellow Scotch-Brite Dobie pads for a long time. Recently I've noticed that the pad has a bluish hue after using it and leaving it overnight. I wonder why?

Have used Dobie cleaning pads for years. They work great on stainless steel and Teflon pots and pans. Also great for cleaning corning ware. They make clean up easy and love that I can wash and disinfectant them on the top rack of dishwasher.

Best non-abrasive scrub pad I have ever used.

Where kitchen items are concerned, the nylon wrapped sponge holds soapy water while you gently scrub your glassware, dishes, pots, pans and other utensils. It has a bit more scrubbing power and durability than a regular sponge. Personally, I wouldn't use it on things such as painted surfaces, plexiglass, or polished stainless steel surfaces . . . but I don't know firsthand whether or not you could or should. Perhaps someone else could comment on that.

I can’t believe what you are packaging and selling to us after being so reliable for years (as witnessed by the dates on the 5-star reviews.). The first time it happened, I thought maybe someone had used the sponge with an abrasive cleaner. Then it happened to the other two…maybe a bad box, I thought. Then it happened with a new box. I took one out of the box today and only used a little dawn on it to clean an all clad sauce pan that had been used to heat chicken soup…not a difficult clean up and it already has a hole. I had two boxes in my closet, so I took them all out to inspect them. Well lo and behold there are divots in them when they are packaged. See attached photos. You will notice one even has a green speck of something…who knows what. I would like to be reimbursed for 4 boxes of Dobie sponges. I will go through my online grocery receipts and get the exact prices for you if necessary. Send me a postage paid return envelope and you can have 2 used and 5 unused sponges back.

[Rewarded Review] Better Than Sponges

I'm the primary dishwasher in my house, and I've used Scotch-Brite® Dobie All-Purpose Cleaning Pads since forever. They scrub thoroughly without scratching, and the spongy yellow inside holds liquid detergent so the Dobie stays soapy. They are durable and long-lasting if they are rinsed after each use.

I have always loved using these scrubbers! I use these especially for my dishes. Do not use with greasy dishes! The grease does tEnd to stick and transfer. Better than the yellow green scrubber.

Great product and highly recommend

These are always my go to scrubbing pads. I use them in kitchen for washing pots and other items that don’t do well in dishwasher. They don’t tear up, not very expensive, and do a great job! I’ve been using these for many years!

These yellow sponges I am so glad I found them. I can't live without these either. They don't scratch the frying pants. Tate owned scratch the glass surface to the stove.

Best Dishwashing Pads

I’ve been using Dobie pads for at least 30 years! They are great for scrubbing ALL types of dishes, pans, utensils, glassware. The sponge dries quickly, no odor and lasts longer than other types.

Missing/incomplete product

The product I purchased came with three (3) cleaning pads, but the delivered product only contained two cleaning pads. Please investigate. This is unacceptable.

Turning black

We've been using these for decades but recently they are turning black. We think it's when we switched to Kirkland brand dish soap. Changing back to Dawn with a new Dobie to see if that is the cause. Has anyone else seen this happening?

Best for acrylic tank cleaning

Bought this pads to test if they can safely and thoroughly clean my acrylic fish tank. The result is amazing, even the months old algae in places where magic sponge was nit effective, were no match for the dobbie.
