Classic set of Salt and pepper mills

I purchased the small size set for gift giving. Already using one , we use them every day over eggs or salad. Very nice and handy. The flavour of fresh cracked pepper can’t be denied. Love it.

The description is misleading, this item is NOT ceramic. There is not one ceramic part. It is plastic inside out. Big pass , and BIG disappointment for Le Creusent quality. Here it goes back ! ZERO STARS.

Useful Small Grinders

These small grinders work great. The only downside is that they are a bit tricky to fill since the opening to add the coarse salt and peppercorns is rather small.

ive got the normal size in the kitchen, and was delighted with this option as a more affordable option for a second set on the dining table! so cute, and in keeping with my love of le creuset, and teal explosion!

No great features

This was a present and it is useless and far too expensive. I wish I had been able to test it before it was in use and would have asked for it to be exchanged. It is an excuse for a pepper mill. I wish I had never asked for one. A waste of money.

Perfect salt & pepper mill - great gift!

Smaller s & p mills fit nicely on the counter in my daughter's small kitchen. Color (shallot) is beautiful - soothing. A great gift for my daughter's first home.

Perfect Size

Love these. I have multiple sets. The top screw adjusts so you can get the size of salt or pepper needed. Easy clean after each use. Would buy as a gift. Only wish for plastic caps for these small ones.

Pepper grinder broke after normal use

This pepper grinder has plastic internal parts which broke after normal use after about 4 years. It is very disappointing that the designers and product managers decided to use plastic over metal. Sooner or later, they know these parts will fail, and it did. I contacted Le Creuset via email explaining this situation, requesting a replacement pepper grinder. After about one week, no response. I therefore decided to submit the review.

Beautiful, But Can't Recommend

Although these are beautiful (I have them in artichault and absolutely love the color) and they work as they should, they feel like they are made of cheap material. Plastic and low quality for the high price. My biggest complaint is that they don't come with a cover for the bottoms, I put them on my kitchen table and I am constantly having to wipe up salt and paper that falls from the bottoms which is a pain.

Still the same great Le Creuset quality. Some reviewers don't like the fact that they have an ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) finish i.e., like plastic. But these grinders do not feel light or cheap. I've had Le Creuset S & P mills for years which are made with this material, and they still look great, perform perfectly, and clean easily. Also, ABS is BPA free, according to many references.

I purchased the basic white (salt) and black (pepper) set since we are a visual bunch. It’s wonderful to have ability to hand-grind to whatever texture desired whenever we want. These are used in the kitchen while cooking, plating, and on the dining room table for seasoning per taste. They are pricier than some - but the quality is great and look beautiful also. Form and function. Check.

Meh, has its issues!

These s&p grinders are plastic. Ceramic would be better. I like a more course grind. Even though these are supposed to be adjustable, it grinds very finely. After grinding, the salt always drops a pile of salt on the counter where I keep it. Another thing to clean. The best thing about these grinders is the color. Thats why I chose it, besides the fact that theyre Le Creuset, which I thought was a better brand.
