Just adequate... disappointingly

Very easy to apply and cleans up like a breeze. I waited for a year to see how this would age, which is why I gave it only 3 stars, and 2 might be more like it. On vertical surfaces, this has worn well, but on a flat deck, it has only been ok. The places where I applied two coats have endured longer than the one coat, as expected, but the one coat application has worn away. It doesn't peel like other stains, rather it just seems to vanish. I used a dark cedar color and regret that because the deck surface gets quite hot in the sun. I suggest that you consider a lighter tint if you have a surface that receives lots of sunshine. The manufacturer recommends resealing annually, which I will do again this year, although I'll use the clear over the stained. If you're expecting to get six years out of this product (per the manufacturer's claim), you'll be disappointed. It did bead water quite well for a couple of months. Now, I'm not so sure how well protected the deck is. If I thought I could find a better product, I'd switch.

WOW! Our Timber Beams Look Fantastic

I had a moment of buyers remorse after buying a 5 gallon bucket of this stain, but we've applied 3 coats to our new porch timber beams and are now applying it to our raised bed garden boxes. Everything turned out gorgeous, LOVE the color and protective quality of the Nano Seal Once. Very happy with the purchase, highly recommend!

Great water proof

This really seals and waterproofs wood. I use it on my back gate. And other wood outside tables and planters.

Product is easy to apply. It produces a satin finish, and repels water very well.

I haven't had a chance to use it yet but it seems like that's what I need for my composite deck

Great for sealing decks & safe for environment

I am very sensitive to chemicals. This product has no VOCs making it possible to apply without wearing gloves and mask. No odors. Easy cleanup. The product is more expensive than toxic deck sealers, but not really when you consider that it effectively repels water for 5 years. I've used this product before so I can attest to that.
