Posturepedic Hybrid King

Fairly decent mattress for the price. The top layer is super chincy and there is zero motion reduction but the springs feel like they should last. Definitely a downgrade from my last Temperpedic. I watched a ton of video reviews and they all went on about how this is the highest "mid level" model but if that's the case then i can't imagine how the other models in this range don't suck. Edge support is eh. In hindsight, I should have gotten a higher quality mattress but this was sub $1000 so i can't really complain. All service I received from sales to delivery was top notch. The employees were great and professional.

New to hybrids

A solid 4 and a good medium mattress. The top of the mattress gives you that soft feel but tends to be a little warmer than other mattresses. I prefer the top of the mattress to be quilted, instead of a jersey feel, but I knew it before buying. A good Mattress cover/pad should help even it out to more my taste. I am still not sure I love hybrid style mattresses but it's not a bad mattress it just depends on your preference.

My son loved this Seally mattress , this mattress makes him feel good and support his back very well , the top mattress material designer made very good and comfort , he loves to sleep without the sheets and it is durability. He has a good sleep with this mattress and very happy when I got the right mattress for him . Well , this Seally Posturepedic hybrid mattress is a good mattress, good quality and very durable . Would recommend to you .

Two thumbs down store experience…order online.

Love the mattress. Hated the store. We went to the store to try mattresses. Both men we dealt with were arrogant and pushy for the more expensive versions of everything. We ended up leaving, finding a mattress we loved at slumberland then when we went to purchase it online it just so happened that mattress firm was cheaper. Ordering online was great and the delivery experience was perfect. Bought our base for a fraction of the price of the store offerings off of amazon and are very happy with it. Strongly recommend avoiding their pushy salespeople at all costs.

Best sleep in a long time!

I slept on this mattress at a friend’s house a few times before purchasing this for myself. Each time I slept on it, it was the best nights sleep ever!!!! It’s a true medium firmness offering much needed support, but slight softness for comfort. I also have an Oura ring and each night of sleep on the Norman trended better than on my old mattress. I wish I bought it sooner! The only bad thing about the mattress is I don’t want to leave my bed in the morning!

I don’t mind paying more money when it comes to bedding stuffs because it’s where you spend most of your time in life. If you don’t have good sleep, you won’t be able to function the next day. This mattress is a firm one, but still very comfortable. It is very hard for me to fall asleep so I often move around for one to two hours. The good thing about this one is it reduces the motion so even when I’m doing it my husband doesn’t feel the motion too much. It provides great support. I have it for about two years now and it still doesn’t lose the firmness. Feel like this is a great investment so far.

Medium? Not quite.

Had a memory foam mattress for five years and it was killing my back. I sleep on my side and stomach because I snore on my back. Once I got sciatica it was time to upgrade so we got this Norman hybrid. It sleeps like a camp bed roll on the floor. Everyone kept saying “you have to give it time to break in”, well, six weeks later we traded it in because we were getting broke in, not the mattress. If you like a firm mattress this is the one. I thought “medium” would be a bit more in between. Nope!

I recently purchased this mattress for my daughter’s bedroom now I wish I could get one for myself. It is super soft, but firm at the same time. It has support in all the right spots. In fact( when I slept in her bed on a night that she was not home I noticed that i woke up with less pain in my hip lower back than I usually do. Also, I typically wake up often because I get too hot, but I only woke up once or twice while sleeping on this. I firmly believe that it’s due to the breathability of this mattress. It was pricey (like most mattresses), but I believe I got what I paid for and it was worth it.

Not too firm. Not too soft. The springs are completely supportive. The thick top pad is cushy but doesn't trap you. It's easy to roll and move. My family prefer a firm matress with a medium 2" latex pad and yet our backs, hips, neck feel great after a sound night's sleep on this bed. I also haven't had any overheating issues like I've had before with 3" elastic memory foam/cool gel foam, etc. The frosting on top is that this is Sealy quality. The materials feel/look high quality. Even has a great zippered cover. I call this mattress a great value and am so happy that I made the right choice. Well worth a little extra money.

Good side sleeper hybrid mattress

The bed is very comfortable to sleep on, as a side sleeper the Matress Firm quiz did not steer us wrong! We have slept on the bed for a couple of weeks now & find it to provide for soft & firm sleeping. When I wake up in the morning I have no pain or discomfort in my joints as I have had w/other mattresses. The hybrid foam & coil mattress makes this bed firm yet soft & comfortable at the same time. Would recommend & the sales associate did a wonderful job as well!

WHAT PAIN?

I used to wake with pain everyday. My health issues were exasperated by my bed.Kelly was amazing in helping me find an affordable & comfy bed. I had no clue of what was comfortable for me. She asked me & listened to my sleep habits & pick the best bed for me which was right on the $$. Now my pain levels have decreased tremendously & I sleep so much better. Delivery was on time if not early & the guys were professional as well as friendly just like Kelly. Will never go anywhere else

I bought this mattress 5 years ago. This was the first time we invest on this mattress due to my husband has back pain. We decided to give it a try. Within 5 years, it really does its job providing good comfort, support his back as well as it is reduce his back pain. We bought firm, king size mattress. It has been five years which the mattress still good. Usually mattress will lose its compression but it hasn’t lose too much compression which is good. It is heavy mattress. We chose it because it didn’t have coil inside mattress which made my husband back pain become worse . Since he slept on it, he wakes up every morning without back pain or sleepy wrong position. Recommend for people having back pain problems.

Perfect mattress for me. Not to soft and not to firm. Thank God!

I did a lot of research before finally settling on this Sealy hybrid bed and it was worth the time! We love it! This is our first memory foam bed, so it does take a week to get used to it, as it feels very different from a traditional spring mattress. I am a hot sleeper, so I was worried about sinking down into the foam, but this one is firm, without being hard. The cushion is perfect (not too firm, not too soft) and I don't get super hot at night. It set up quickly and perfectly. I've given it 3 months before leaving a review and wanted to come back and leave 5 stars all the way around!

NOT SOFT FEEL AT ALL

We extensively researched mattresses to ensure this purchase was exactly what we wanted, but we felt deceived. We did not want a mattress that was too soft or too firm. We feel we got the latter. This mattress is harder than a board. It replaced the Stearns and Foster we purchased 15 years ago, and we thought we were investing well with Sealy. We are so disappointed and would like to look at options.

This is the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on! I suffer with back problems but sleep so much better on this really comfortable supportive mattress. I know pain affects my quality of sleep, so to have such a comfortable mattress has been amazing! I like everything about it - the comfort factor, the fact that it doesn't move hardly when my husband turns over so we don't disturb each other. I can't think of anything I dislike about it. It is expensive but at our time of life (retired) it was an investment worth making! I would definitely recommend it!

A Perfect Fit

The 12 year old Sleep Number bed in our motorhome died and needed to be replaced. Unlike putting a new mattress in a "stick and brick" home where a couple of inches one way or the other is rarely a deal breaker - finding a mattress that would fit our motor home was ALL about the dimensions. Our original mattress was an RV King (72" x 80" x 9"). We determined that we could go a little longer (up to 84" and a little "taller" (up to 12") - and went to the Mattress Firm store in Panama City Beach FL to see what we could find. Kaitlyn (our sales rep) was incredibly helpful ... she showed us various options, was able to get us the exact measurement specs, etc. We stretched out on 8-10 options - before deciding on the Sealy California King Medium Firm "Norman" mattress. Because we were only going to be in the area for a limited time Kaitlyn checked and double checked when we could have it delivered - as well as confirming that they'd deliver it to the RV park we were staying in. When it was clear that everything lined up - we placed our order. The mattress was delivered to the door of our motorhome exactly as promised - and fit perfectly in the space allotted.

Awesome Hybrid Mattress

Awesome Mattress! This hybrid mattress was recommended to me by my Physical Therapist. I went to my local store and tried it out. I purchased the medium firm as I prefer a more firm mattress. I’ve slept on this for a couple months now and I am very happy with it. I have also noticed I am not lame in the mornings like I used to be. Great mattress!

Way too firm and has noticeable outcasting odor

When I tried this mattress in the showroom it felt great. However, when I tried sleeping on the mattress that was delivered I kept waking up with pain in my shoulder and lower back. The mattress was much, much firmer than the one I tried in the showroom. After trying to sleep on it two nights I called the store and spoke with the salesman. He explained that the mattress in the showroom had already been through the break-in period (which he said is 21 days) and that's why it felt softer. I tried sleeping on the mattress one more time. I woke up about an hour later in pain and I gave up and moved to the sofa. There is no way I can sleep on this mattress through the break-in. Not only is it very firm it also has a noticeable unpleasant odor from the outgassing. So now I'm in the process of trying to select a different mattress. I have no complaints about Mattress Firm or the sales people have spoken with. However I do think they should warn people this mattress has a break-in period. I afterwards read other reviews on another website where people reported the same problem I experienced. The person who wrote the other review was told the break-in period is 60 days. Incidentally, two different sales people told me the way to speed up the break-in process is to walk on the mattress. I don't have the time. I think the manufacturer should "break-in" this mattress before they sell it to people.
