Slides around

The mattress pad is comfortable and waterproof however, it slides around on the mattress during the night. Not happy with that at all. It fits the mattress just fine but the waterproof backing on the pad itself is slick, so it slides around.

Disappointed

It would be fine if it would not move around on the bed under the bed sheets. It's continuously wrinkling up underneath all the blankets and sheets. I have a Serta king size mattress and ordered a king size mattress cover. Needless to say it's definitely NOT what I was expecting. I...personally wouldn't recommend it and I'm sure it would be fine for others, but this is what I've been experiencing.

Sealy waterproof plus mattress pad

It was not a first qualityitem. The top didn't fit the bed and the part you sleep on was huge wrinkles and not restful to sleep on. I had to have something to cover the mattress right then. I will throw it away as soon as I get a new one.

Sealy Mattress Cover is Tops!

Very pleased with Sealy’s Mattress Cover. The fabric is quilted well and the twin size fits perfectly over the mattress. The item has not yet been washed and dried so that review is not available.

Pass on this one

I’m keeping this because I needed it for a backup, but I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s too big on top, but too tight around the mattress. Like a muffin top! See photos. Like the top is baggy and has wrinkles, but around the edges of the mattress, it’s already starting to rip/tear. I’ve only had this for a couple of months and it’s not even been on the bed all that time, since, like I said, it’s my backup mattress pad, for when I’m washing my primary one.

Doesn’t even cover 15” mattress

Super disappointed! Purchase this for three reasons: 1) Sealy brand 2) stated waterproof but quiet 3) fits up to 18” king mattress

Doesn't lay flat

Tha mattress pad is tight around the four corners of the mattress, but the top was made too big. It does not lay flat. They used too much material on the top part. Even with a sheet over it, you can feel a bulky pad underneath because it won't lay flat.

Not waterproof.

I bought 3 of these for my kids' beds. My youngest still wets the bed occasionally. They were waterproof for the first 6 months. Now they don't work at all. Poor quality.

Love/hate relationship

Great mattress protector - its comfortable, comes out of the wash looking new, & lasts a long time (that's the love part)

Doesn’t stay in place

The mattress pad after being on for a couple days starts to slip off the corners. The it’s not large enough to fully cover the sides. It’s been several months and sides seem to be stretching out.

Melts when washed

Very comfortable pad if you don't ever want to wash it. I wash everything before using. Followed the washing instructions and washed on gentle and dried on delicate. The backside still melted.

Deep corners and soft

I’ve had this almost a month. I have a tall mattress with a topper and this is the first mattress pad that doesn’t come off the corners. The only thing that I don’t like is that it’s a bit large, wrinkles under the sheet but next time I wash it I am hoping it will shrink just a little. Over all I’m very pleased.

Corners Stay on

Like the way it holds the corners it’s nice and deep pockets soft on the top. Bought an extra one for when my guests come in I have to use my air mattress. We’re just be careful washing it don’t get over excited and put the heat on too high if you have to take it out and turn it inside out let it cool dry the rest of the way

So far so good....

The water proofing makes the bed a tad crunchy. Almost as if a thin plastic tarp is placed under padding. I took away a star for that reason. It is still fairly comfortable. It fits the bed, is made well, and protects the mattress, so it serves the purpose. I washed it out of the bag, and it washed and dried nicely. I'm not certain if I was supposed to put it in the dryer, but I did, and the mattress pad wasn't negatively effected.

Great mattress pad

I like the thickness and cushion feel to this waterproof mattress pad. The Sealy mattress and now pad, are a great combination for clean, comfortable sleep.

Low quality product.

Very disappointed in this mattress cover. Brand new right out of the bag but had quality more like a $5 product instead of a $50 product. Correct size and all but seemed dry rotted or just plain poor quality. First time putting it on my mattress when I started tightening up to get it over the corners and sides it started ripping at the seams. Both sides. The cover was for a queen mattress 14 inches high which is exactly what I have. Very disappointed that Sealy would sell such a low quality item at that price. It will be returned.

Had to throw it out

Terrible. I bought for when my son who still wets the bed jumps in my bed at night. Not completely waterproof but I was still satisfied. Much much better than before. The problem is I do my laundry at a laundry mat. And my first time washing this I took all the clean clothes out of the washer to put in a dryer. I get to the bottom and there sits this thing with at least a gallon of water in it. I managed to get it out and dump most of the water in my laundry basket which I then poured in a sink but all the while making a huge wet mess in the middle of the laundry mat. And then this thing was so heavy and still so full of water that my only option was to set it in a trash can. Which I could barely do because of the weight. So one use and done. I suppose if you have a washer at home you could dump off the water in your machine and do another spin cycle or two. But I didn’t have that option. Just depends if it’s worth the extra work or not.

Mattress pad is good. Definitely not worth the original price. Make sure you can buy it on sale plus use kohl’s cash etc.

I would definitely buy it again

Exactly what I was looking for. A sturdy, well-made, waterproof mattress pad that doesn't crinkle or make for a hot, sweaty sleep. It is pricy, but well worth the extra money. The elastic is very tight so it fits snug, goes on easy with some ripping sounds unfortunately, but holding up very well. As for the waterproof, it is on my toddler son's bed and has protected his mattress from potty training, a senior dog's accidents, and a stomach flu. It has definitely done its job!

If only it would fit = it's far too small.

So we have an old Sealy, that's held up extremely well, for some 10-years now, the only problem being the body oil stains, that won't come out. So I shopped & shopped for days, both on-line & in stores, this seemingly being a very good replacement one. However, it doesn't begin to fit, by like a foot. And the backing is now noisey plastic. So I['ll be taking this one back and shopping yet again, at this one isn't even close to what we purchased previously.
