Beautiful and stylish, Wonderful sounding chimes with 2 different settings, Can turn off chimes at night (11PM-5:45) or leave off all together. Perfect size for my den. Keeps perfect time and chimes exactly at every quarter hour; one at 15 minutes, 2 chimes at 30 minutes, 3 at 45, 4 at the hour, and then one chime at one o'clock, 2 at two o'clock, 3 at three, etc. Would have given it 5 stars, but the pendulum on the clock that I received does not swing.

I must not have read product description very well, because I thought it was made of wood. It's a plastic frame. Other than that, my husband and I love the clock and the Westminster chimes. I like that I can control the volume and even silence it at night. Weve had chime clocks for over forty years, so we're used to chimes at night. Therefore we don't silence it during the night hours. It keeps excellent time and out of all the chime clocks we've owned, it's my favorite.
