There is nothing that you will not love about this clock. First, it is absolutely exquisite looking. It was very easy to set up. It is perfectly designed. It has two chimes, and a switch to change. You can silence the chimes at night, but I bought this precisely so it would chime at night. It has a volume control for the chimes. Mine is in the kitchen, and set to just barely hear it in the bedroom at the other end of the house. You don't hear it when sleeping, but on waking, you know the time. This clock does not tick, but why do clocks need to tick anyway?

Easy to put together and hang. Just hung it so don't know how accurate it is yet. Although I prefer a key wound clock, the chimes on this one sound realistic for a battery operated clock.

This clock arrived very quickly and 6 days ahead of schedule! It was easy to put together. The wood and face are very pretty, and the clock is well made. I like the choice of chimes. The quarter hour chime reminds me of my mom's old mantel clock.

Seiko traditional wall clock

I love it!! I had one once before and somebody stole it. I guess the thief knew how good it is. :) It was nice to get a new one and hear the chimes again. It puts a smile on my face every time I hear it.

We bought three of these as keepsakes in rememberance of our mother who passed away and gave two to our children. We were looking for an attractive, quality wall clock for a budget price. It is a beautiful addition to our homes and the chime tone is surprisingly realistic for an electronic tone. Seiko is a quality name and I'm sure we will enjoy it for years to come.
