Missing parts

Wrong parts sent. They sent three right legs and only one left. Lots of scratches too. I like the looks of it but you get what you pay for as far as quality.

Defective!

I had my eye on this bed for some time and hoped from the look of it (from the pictures) it would be a simple, elegant, yet perfect bed. I mean overall it looks like a good, sterdy bed but it's side has a long line of missing laminate outer wear/layer that shows the plywood under. Since I am super lazy I did not want to return the item as I had to also pay for the shipping cost, and looking at the price of the bed, made it unworth it as its not super expensive. But if you are going to but this keep that in mind that it may come with some flaws.

Don't waste your money.

I was so excited for this bed frame but man was I let down. The shipment arrived in two boxes, it took me two hours to put together. Looks great but is not sturdy what so ever! The 4 posts on the outside keep coming out and I have to push them back into place literally twice a day. And yes I did follow the instructions very carefully so I am sure I did not miss any steps. I am very disappointed and I wish I could return this. Please listen to me and save your money.

DO NOT BUY!

I purchased this for my son's first apartment. He slept in it from Sept. to Dec. It began coming apart almost immediately. (unfortunately he didn't tell me) He has repeatedly tried to fix it and keep it together. After 3 months of use we are bed shopping again. This bed will NOT hold up, DO NOT waste your money!!!

DO NOT BUY

This is one of those “I would give it 0 stars if that was a choice” items. This bed fell apart time and time again; the manufacturer’s warranty was only good if we submitted a claim, waited for approval, then mailed in the original pieces they requested back without modifications. The mattress collapsed through the frame multiple times and required us to make our own supports/drill our own holes/etc. and I was informed that that would void the warranty but we couldn’t sleep on our bed half supported half on the ground. We made our own repairs 3x before giving up and hauling it to the junkyard.

The price was right but the bed is not a quality product. The bed was a difficult to put together as the instructions were not the best. The bed’s construction is a bit questionable as they have four metal posts that attach to the side and front (or back). These seem to be an afterthought to keep the bed from bowing out. However the holes that were supposed to hold the posts were not in the right places. The wood slats that hold the mattress did not fit properly in the spaces provided and kept popping out. Now the mattress holds them down but even then the slats have popped out of the end. This bed was for my daughter and we will deal with it, but I don’t expect it to last a long time.

One year later total junk. Do not waste your money. At first it was just the drawers that would not push in and stay in straight. Then the wooden slats kept breaking. I have fixed them at least ten times. Last night the entire platform split and everything fell apart. Did I mention my eight year old is the one who sleeps in this bed. He weights about fifty pounds. He does not jump on the bed it is just very very cheap materials.

Please do not order from this company. I've had this bed frame less then 6 months, and it imploded while my husband and I were sleeping. We're two average sized adults, there is no excuse for this and it's extremely dangerous. I called to try to get my money back, as I don't feel comfortable sleeping on a replacement and I was told to request a new one from the warranty company, and sell it online to get my money back as it was 'outside of the return window and no longer out obligation to refund you'. How distasteful and unprofessional, I am absolutely disgusted with this company, their products and their customer service. I sincerely hope my review can deter at least one person from wasting their hard-earned money here.

pThe platform bed was fairly easy to put together and decent quality to hold a new Dreamcloud king mattress. However, the drawers are very cheap quality and difficult to assemble. While aligning the cardboard bottom of the drawers and the screws, we had to tap the screws into place and one drawer completely broke apart and we had to trash 1 of the 4 drawersl We were able put the other 3 drawers together (need 2 people to hold and align the poor quality cardboard bottoms) . sadly we had to trash the 4th drawer. And the drawers that go under the bed, keep in mind that you can not have a night stand next to the bed to get the drawer open on the head part of the bed. Don't order the 4 drawers if you want nightstands, only order 2 drawers.

The best find so far. I searched platform beds for weeks until I decided to buy this one. I had already purchased a 14 inch memory gel mattress. Let’s just say, heaven! The bd was simple to put together, just repetitive steps. It arrived in 4 boxes because I bought 4 drawers with mine. The boxes are heavy, especially the biggest one. I had every piece needed to put together including hardware. The first night upon getting on the bed, it made a sound of pressed wood settling. Have not heard that sound since. It really is a sturdy bed. The mattress worked out perfect, just the right height. I would highly recommend this bed and I am a very OCD person when it comes to my home. Love it!
