A great product to replace similar locks to which the keys had been lost. Very attractive brass coloring goes well with my cabinets. Everything worked smoothly and installations was a breeze.
This lock was for a customer with a quite old desk lock that had broken. This modern lock just happened to be the same dimensions and style. The Home Depot website made it easy to get the exact dimensions of the lock prior to ordering so I knew it would work for the customer.

I purchased the lock as a replacement for an existing oak finish file cabinet lock with a missing key. The lock is exactly as pictured and advertised, and fit perfectly.

bad lock
I think I got a bad lock. It arrived on time was put in the desk it worked. We reinstalled the drawers a after that it would not open. Only way to get the drawers out, was to drill the lock out.
