Update on review (after assembly)

I discovered that the side bars to the legs are not cut long enough to secure to the frame with the screws provided and they easily came apart splintering the wood.

New Bar Stools

I have to say for the money the chairs are worth it. Slightly time consuming to put together (However I bought 8) but they look great around the bar. All parts were included, no pieces missing was a plus

These are beautiful counter stools. They are classy and more delicate than a lot of the ones I looked at. I didn't want a heavy modern look for my kitchen, that has a lot of very decorative, over the top molding and trim. These are very good wood, and very well finished. It was just a bonus that the price was so fantastic.

Nice Bar Stools

The assembly of the stools was a bit tight in connecting the legs to the back piece. There was several nicks and chips on the wood before we even started putting the stools together.

Pain putting together but looks great!

Pain in the booty to put together. I mean seriously, awful. But, once they finally were together they look great! Pieces when putting together are very fragile. Once piece is being replaced, it broke while putting together. Final product was great!

I sent them back

I was excited to get these stools. As we put them together I was very unhappy with the quality of the wood, the stain drips, etc.

Not tall enough

This chair is very attractive but it was not tall enough to work with my high counter level island. It arrived very timely and return process was very simple.

Horrible thing to buy, trust me

I would not wish this even on my worst enemy. This was the worst experience I’ve had shopping online. Where do I even start. The instruction manual is complete garbage, its not detailed and you can barely tell the different between the tools you get to assemble it like screws. When putting the screws in, there is no “hole” so you literally have to break the wood by force, to get the screw in, which obviously damages the furniture. It is very difficult to assemble alone, I had such a hard time, I had to ask someone to hold half of it. Once I built it about 2 hours later (Just one btw) it was so underwhelming, all the anger, and frustration I felt trying to figure out how to build it, was not worth it at all. Til this day I have not assembled the second one, just because I know how annoying it was. And I still have barely even sat on that chair. This was a waste of money and I just wanted to get a refund.

Some of the part was discolor and not right shape to properly assembly. Though this product need to assemble by customer so buyer need to check before ship the item, is it really proper finish to assemble? and the color issue too.

Taller than described and arrived damaged

Description not accurate. Says from floor to seat 28.3” when in fact floor to seat is 30”. Came in original packaging already with nicks in the legs. Difficult to assemble due to terrible labeling and drawings and pieces not aligning properly. One star because the backing and coloring are as expected.

The quality is perfect. They came as quickly as they said they would. Very pleased.

Stools

Love the stools the quality is much better then I expected. The only problem is they were to high for our counter top so we had to have them cut down so we could use them at the counter Otherwise extremely pleased and would absolutely recommending them

Not too sturdy. The seat, although it is drilled in properly, became lose after a few uses. The legs do not feel sturdy, but we'll see after a while. Only had them for 2 months.

These are beautiful bar stools! I am giving it four stars instead of five solely because one stool arrived with a broken piece as well as a missing piece. I am bummed because a replacement part or replacement stool is not available. Overstock did give me a little store credit since they were not able to fix it. I didn't want to send it back since it came in a set of two and I wanted the other stool. I love the covered footplate. Very sturdy and the wood is a beautiful color.

I would give it 5 stars if the quality was a little better. There were many visible splinters and rough edges. This is a safety concern for some of us who have kids. They can also tear threading in tops when sat on.
