The most awesome painting turned low quality.

I love this painting! I especially loved the idea that it was split in tow and I knew from the moment I saw this that it would be perfect for a corner of my dining area. However, this is so cheaply made. Part of the original artwork has cracks in the paint, and it is clear the paint is layered on the canvas. Well, that does not translate well into this print on canvas. It just looks cheap and kind of pixilated. And the frame is not even wood, as far as I can tell. It is plastic with a wood sticker and the mitered ends don't join perfectly, so you can see the white part of the plastic. I seriously would have paid double the $139 for this set if the reproduction was on actual canvas instead of this plasticy stuff, and if the wood frame was of any quality. I just love the picture so so much that I am so torn. In the end, it is so low quality I am embarrassed to hang it on my walls- and this is from a person who is buying mass-produced pre-framed wall art, so that is saying something. I have had this in my shopping cart for months and months and I pulled the trigger and now I am so bummed out...I do not reccomend this. I have other framed wall art products from kate and laurel and they look really cute. This just looks low quality. :(
