NIce, simple lines. If I remember correctly, one shade arrived dented and a replacement was immediately sent. The off/on turn knob is a little awkward to reach from a standing position. You really have to have small hands and reach under the close-fitting shade. Would be great in a location that is hardwired for one central wall off/on switch.

These are odd lamps. Shade comes down very low, and its hard to turn the light on and off. I tried turning the lamp shade the other way, and the light bulb stuck out of the top. Theyre made pretty well. I just wish there was more space between the base of the lamp and the lamp shade itself

I agree with other reviewers that the design is a bit flawed: I have very little hands but still find it difficult to turn the lamp off and on under the shade. You will have to reset the shade after every use because of this, otherwise it is tilted. I wanted a soft, clean look for my bedroom and also lamps that would be super sturdy because they sit on a "coffee table" style table behind the bed, and our dogs often jump onto the bed to play, hurling pillows toward the lamps. These do not disappoint. They look more expensive than they are and can withstand the pillow tosses!

These lamps were a good choice! The blue leather looking base is a gorgeous colour and the shades are perfect too. I love the long cord. The only drawback is the location of the onoff switch up under the narrow shaped shade. It is hard to reach. Otherwise, I’m delighted with this purchase and have had compliments from visitors.

I bought these lamps as open box and was very surprised that someone would return these.

I added color smart bulbs so the switch stays on. I like they fit and look better on smaller end tables on either side of my couch. The shade does a great job of diffusing the bulb, nothing harsh or glaring. Delivery was early and packaging was good. Great price too on sale as special buy.

Just big enough to add accent color, the square shape of the lamp base and lamp shade continue lines and creates visual breaks and edges for a modern, streamlined look. Works well in the office in the nooks and corners, adding background lighting and a warmth to the space that clients appreciate.

The lamps are very nice and met my expectations for the price. The shades are slightly dented but not very noticeable. It would be better if the amount of space available to reach the light switch had more space. It is easy to bump the white shade and dent or soil it.

I love the look of the teal lamps. My only complaint is that the on and off switch for the lamps is in a horrible place. It’s so hard to turn on and off. You pretty much have to do it by sticking you hand in the top of the shade while trying not to get burnt by the light bulb.

These are way better than the picture on the website. There is some stitching detail that really elevates the style. I also didnt notice the two different heights, which made them seem bespoke.

Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this little lamp. The functionality is a little odd... the lamp switch is tucked inside a relatively narrow shade. Takes the same effort as changing a lightbulb in a narrow space. It looks great, and if you have a wall where you can use an alternative (like a wall switch) to turn it on/off - you will be happier ;)

Pretty Lamps

Porch and Den lamps arrived in perfect condition and ahead of time. The lamps are a very delicate blue and I love the leather material. Very modern. They are fantastic for smaller end tables as they are somewhat petite but height is standard. Easy assembly and use regular bulbs (not included). I like them. Thanks, Overstock.

Good lamps. Modern, stylish, and functional. Perfect for a kid or guest room. I have 2 in my master bedroom and one has a short, so we have to turn the lamp switch on, then twist the bulb just so for it to turn on and stay on. I recommend using with a light switch vs clicking the switch since you have to rest the lampshade around the bulb socket making it a bit awkward to reach under, or you can rest the shade on top of the bulb which means the shade tilts and falls every time you turn the lamp off or on.

These two lamps came as a set for a good price, and arrived three days earlier than expected. They are very easy to assemble, however, NOTE: if you don’t put the shade on correctly it will wobble. When assembled correctly, there is no wobbling whatsoever. They look lovely in the bedroom, but we have 60 watt bulbs in them, which is a bit too bright, so we’re putting in lower wattage bulbs today. They are a good height for our larger night tables. The only complaint I have, which I have seen with other white shades, is that when the light is on you can see some of the glue that was used to attach the fabric to the metal frame. However, don’t let this put you off, as the light was very bright with 60 watts, so it might not be as obvious with lower wattage. Overall, I would definitely recommend these lamps.

These lamps are the perfect size for a nightstand and look great. The problem is with the description. I specifically bought these because the last line of description read “ Powered by a 72" length of a clear electric cord, this lamp is operated by a simple in-line switch.” I was somewhat disappointed to learn upon receipt that the switches are pin type in the bulb base. To make matter worse, the way the shade sits, it’s almost impossible to push the pin switch back and forth. Unless you’re planning on using a Wi-Fi automated switch, I’d recommend lamps with better (and reachable) switches.

Two problems, my fault for not reviewing negative comments. Unless you use a power strip, turning off the lamp will move the shade, very tight fit between base and bottom of the shade. Constant hassle. Several different color lamps had inline switch (on the cord), so it appears Co recognized the issue. Color appeared to be navy (darker blue), it's actually a royal blue. Not worth the effort to return, price was low, I can make it work for now, then donate.

Nice item. Perfect size for night stand. But You need a better photo of them in the app. I Just took a chance on them because it said LEATHER and indeed the leather wrapped base makes them unique. A little hard at first to get your hand under the shade to use the on off switch without knocking the lamp and shade all around. Lol! It CAN be done with practice. Because the shade comes down over the base, I found Lamp on left of bed needs to be turned on using left hand when in bed, and vise versa. Works better. I think Ill get the black ones when they come back in stock though. I wasnt sure on color. Oh well!

My daughter love the lamps! I seen a lot of reviews stating the light bulb is showing. If so that mean the lampshade needs to be turned down where the wire parts will be at the bottom. If you look at my image you will see where the lamp shade is showing the bent part upward on the wired portion. If yours is going down turn the lamp shade over. Hope this review help. There is some slit flaws on the lamp shade but, for the good price not that noticeable to return. Hope this review helped.

These lamps are nice. I like the leather look. They appear to be well made. My only issue is that it is hard to get to the switch to turn them on and off. The shade is narrow so there is not much room to reach up under the shade to turn on the switch. It would be very difficult for someone with large hands. More of an annoyance than anything. The lamps look nice and they are a good size for bed-side purposes. I decided to return them as they are in a guest bedroom and I didn't want to make things difficult for guests. If you intend to use them everyday, I would not advise buying these.
