These are great chairs! Very heavy, very solid, very stable and they look good. Easy enough to put together (though it gets old pretty quickly if you're building several of these). All of the hardware was present and accounted for, all of the components were packaged well and all of the holes lined up perfectly.

I had already ordered the drop leaf table with the two matching chairs. I enjoyed the table set that way. So decided to order two more chairs I put them together now everything is complete now I am really enjoying the chairs now it a set. The chairs is real sturdy. They was easy to assemble.

These are very sturdy and attractive chairs. We bought six of them for our dining room. They were fairly easy to assemble. I like that they are solid wood from a sustainable source. We will have these chairs for a long time to come. They came in two shipments; one was a day early, and the other was right on time.

Excellent Chair, base screws no good

These chairs are really great for the price. We love them. the only issue we are having is that the base of the chairs, the screws some were broken in half. I had no issues with replacing the chairs 3 times. Yes 3 times, but we weren't in any rush. so however long it took we were ok with it. Still working on 1 last chair, waiting for replacement. Also, who ever puts these chairs together needs to be handy. that would help as well. My husband is very handy, so it wasn't and issue for us.

Love these chairs. I was looking for white dining room furniture and found these online, along with the matching table. Love this set. My dining room is small and this fits perfectly. The chairs were easy to assemble, as they came with very good instructions. Would highly recommend.

I don't recommend at all.

I found the instructions very confusing. And why are there no pre drilled holes in the seat? And why are there only two places to attach the chair- just in the front? I have never had a chair that doesn't have at least two more places (on the side) to attach the seat. Impossible to center the seat on the chair. The seat moves a bit when you sit on it, because there are only two front screws holding it on. I don't recommend them unless they predrill the holes on the seat and add two more places to attach the seat to the chair.

This is the second set of these chairs that we've bought. I'm a fairly big guy, and I've been known to destroy kitchen chairs. Assembly is simple, the quality of the parts is great, (with one small exception), and the strength of the finished chair is fantastic. The packaging is as strong as the chairs themselves. The first set of 2 is almost 2 years old now and are as good as the day we started using them.

There are many positives to these chairs--they are sturdily made, the finish on the ones I received was pristine even though the outside box was damaged--so my hopes were high. And then half-way through assembly I discovered that the seats for the chairs were missing pre-drilled holes for attaching them with the included wood screws. This isn't an easy fix for me, but I am counting on my partner's greater skill set to finish the job. If you aren't comfortable with a drill, these may not be the chairs for you.

I purchased two sets, put them together and love them. Besides being beautiful, they are really sturdy and very reasonable. I am probably going to purchase another set for extra seating. We got the product shipped in great shape. They went together easily and are very solid. I stained them with a light oak stain and polyurethaned them with 3 coats. These chairs replaced some we have had for about 30 years which we really liked, and these are certainly a step up in durability, quality and looks.

Very pleased with the quality of the chairs.

We were pleased with the quality of the chairs. We had purchased 6 unfinished chairs several years ago and needed to replace two. People had tipped back on the older chairs resulting in a fracture where the seat meets the back. The new chairs have a much better construction configuration and will hold up to tipping back. They also have better hardware for putting the chairs together. We finished ours with 3 coats of a clear polyurethane. Very happy with the results. If more of the old ones crack, we will replace with these.

Excellent quality, sturdy, functional chairs

I bought these chairs because I had a hunch that they would be a match to the 2 chairs that come in the "42-inch Dual Drop-leaf Pedestal 3-piece Dining Set" that I bought from Overstock. As it turns out, they are a perfect match and complete my set that I bought as a breakfast table in my small kitchen. They are very sturdy, easy to put together (follow the directions to a T, and you will have zero problems) and very attractive. I got the set in the white and natural wood colors. The wood is a light, butcher's block type of wood. They should last for many, many years.
