Fine but beware

I bought 6 chairs and my 11 year helped me assemble 4 of them. They were fairly easy to assemble after we figured out the first one. Quality seems okay but I am using where they won’t get heavy use. When we opened box for the last two chairs, the wooden parts had mold on them. I took back to Target to return and replace. They took them back without issue but could not give me two more at the price I originally paid. I would have to pay today’s price at $30 more. What?!? This is a Target Plus seller and customer service policies are not the same even though Target sells the product. So now I am stuck paying more money for the chairs or just returning the rest and finding 6 new ones. I would have given more stars for value but now I have to pay more money.

Not easy to assemble

The style is nice and elegant. The assembled part is so hard, not user friendy and the quality is not as expected. The screw keep coming off somehow and wiggling. I would like to return.

Dont buy.

Wouldn’t recommend these chairs. They’re terribly designed, and parts of the chair are constantly coming loose and we have to tighten the screws. They’re super cute, but unfortunately cheaply made. Spend your money elsewhere.

They are good looking chairs and pretty sturdy, but the color of the wood appeared lighter than in the pictures so we did not end up keeping.

These chairs are so cute. They come in a box of two and quite easy to put together. They seem pretty stable. I purchased the matching bench as well.

Nice, modern chairs

Light dining chairs and at a good height for my dining table (not purchased from this Newington set). The padding is firm and not very thick. Might not last that long, but at least these chairs didn't cost a fortune. I like how light they are, and it feels very sturdy! The packaging was solid, but the worse part was the stink coming out from the box when you're getting everything out. I would recommend putting these chairs together outdoors in the patio/backyard if you have that kind of space. Airing out the chairs overnight helped, so I hope these toxic smells won't be something that will give us cancer. =\

Stressful assembly

It’s a nice set, but these chairs are the biggest nightmare to put together. The directions were all backwards and there are no pilot holes on the seat. Unless you enjoy spending hours putting together chairs, don’t buy these. Malaysia really asked themselves what the hardest design would be for people to put together furniture and thought of these chairs. Save yourself the stress.

Such great quality! The seats are a little more on the beige/brown side versus gray-ish like they look in the pictures, but they feel very sturdy and arrived with no imperfections. Delivery was delayed but otherwise such a great purchase!

easy comfortable dining chairs

these chairs were easy to put together, and are comfortable. I will probably recover the seat someday in the future. The chairs are sturdy and go well with our arts and crafts bungalow.
