Very sturdy and easy to store.
I bought these chairs six months ago and had no reason to use them until now. I took them out of the closet and they worked great during dinner. When I went to fold one up to store again, the entire seat came apart from the frame. These chairs were not cheap and I expected them to open and close up without any problem. The second chair won’t even fold back up. As much as these look nice as extra seating at my dining table, they have not lived up to my expectations.
Bought a set of four. One broke just sitting on it. Mayfair sent refund as opposed to a new chair, at my request. Still using the other 3.
Updated comment: Over the past year, the chairs became too heavy and difficult to open/close even for my neighbors. Donated them to Goody. Hope someone will enjoy them.

Can't wait for the holidays to have all the family in my home. Easy extra seating, great for my hefty in-laws.
Great quality folding chairs that are very comfortable and reasonably priced. I was very happy that they did not require any assembly. Each set of 2 chairs were well packed and arrived very quickly. The “sliders” installed on the bottom of each chair leg, help the chair to slide on my wood floors without scratching the wood floors. I ordered 3 sets of 2 for a dining room table but may also order some more for a card table, since these chairs fold for easier storage and transporting to different locations.
These folding chairs are great. They are sturdy, look nice and have a padded seat. Would recommend buying to anyone.

Love these chairs use them for family gatherings, and then they took away when not in use a little confusing to unfold, but once they unfold, they’re beautiful, useful and sturdy.

Beautiful wooden chair ,true to description! It was difficult to find black wood , the expresso was dark enough to blend with the existing set the folding chairs were meant to match . Comfortable and sturdy.
